It seems like a lot of people think the best moment of the show is the running up that hill scene with Max. I agree that it's an iconic moment and it's good, BUT..

Nothing else made me freak out and feel the way I did when I watched THAT scene in sorcerer... Literally nothing even comes close to it for me.

And the thing is a lot of us knew Will having powers was a possibility before it even happened.. as far as the theories and everything... But i was still blown away, man.

I have to admit that the scene in the finale where hopper gets vecna‘d is actually SO GOOD, like I knew that el wasn’t dead (plot armour bla bla) but still, THIS is what I wanted the entire final battle to look like

a battle of the minds, showing the main characters their darkest fears come true, slowly driving them insane

THIS is how you do a final battle with horror instead of action, to show that you can’t win with guns, but with love

Like wtf lmao so the whole Mike thing where he keeps calling Will a sorcerer and not even having any meaning like what was the point. He's a sorcerer hes a sorcerer his powers are innate. Meant nothing in the end.

Also the whole emphasis on Lucas having the theory on Nov 6th. How it starts the day it ends. Also WHAT WAS THE POINT because they never even explain in the show why that date is so special. Why will is taken that specific day. Why it ends on that specific day. Why they show it in the date of the play in the flyer max has but they don't show anything about the play.

I've also realized a lot of people that loved the finale and thought it was perfect seem to be GA, or people that aren't really invested in the show or certain characters. If your favorite characters are Will, Mike, or Eleven chances are you aren't that satisfied. If your favorite character is Steve, Dustin or Hopper or something then I guess maybe I can see why you're more okay with the finale we got.

This doesn't apply to everyone of course obviously I'm just saying.

As someone who's favorite characters are literally Will, El, and Mike.

The thing is maybe everyone could have been more accepting of the issues they had with the coming out scene more if it actually amounted to anything. It was this whole big deal that he had to do it in front of everyone because he was scared of it being used against him and then Vecna literally never even tried to mess with Will or use him in any way again after that? Like I guess you could argue in that final battle he has his moment of " im not afraid anymore". But that wasn't even that satisfying because he should have at the very least been a wayy bigger part in the fight. Idk. They just could have done way more with it and it's super annoying.

Interesting how so many people in the fandom like GA, people that don't ship byler, people that make fun of it, hate it, can all believe in the conformity gate crap and see all the "evidence". But then say the signs of byler never existed. HA.
