Name: Anna Sato Age: 20 Blood Status: Halfblood Schooling: Hogwarts - Ravenclaw Occupation: Classic Musician Student at WADA Political Stance: Maggle United Personality: ISFP (The Adventurer)

Anna’s parents met during the qualifying matches for the 2010 Quidditch World Cup. It was in Japan at the Qualifiers that her parents met. Her father was there supporting his sister, Noriko Sato, the Seeker for the Japanese National Team, and her mother was a reporter following the Welsh national team. Before her parents realised, it they’d fallen in love after a passion filled one night stand resulting in her conception. With a hurried shotgun wedding they soon settled into wedded bliss with her father moving to Wales to be with his wife. A short eight months later Anna came early into the world.

She attended her first Quidditch World Cup in support of her aunt, her smiling face and adorable outfit catching the eyes of reporters from Japan. Soon she was plastered on papers in Japan, but her parents had no plans for her to be anything more than a blip in the media coverage. They both hoped she’d end up like her aunt, she had different ideas though. It was age five during a trip to Diagon Alley that she encountered her first violinist. The music was flowing and inspiring as well the woman playing it with such emotion. She knew then what she wanted to do.

At first her parents thought it was just a phase, but nonetheless indulged her setting her up with lessons and a violin. It wasn’t long until Anna had fallen completely in love with her violin, she’d practice for several hours a day. When her letter arrived to Hogwarts her little family was thrilled, her parents happy they’d finally be able to go a day without hearing her practice and for her it meant the start of her path to W.A.D.A. Sorted into Ravenclaw she excelled at her music studies, finding other students who shared her love of classical music. It was Bridget MacDougal who overheard her playing one day in an empty classroom and invited her to come join the music group she had.

After Hogwarts she received the letter that meant everything to her, she had been accepted to W.A.D.A. and would be starting in the fall. Now two years later she was first chair violin at the academy. For Anna nothing would stop her from playing.

Bridget MacDougal: Bridget and Anna started a friendship over music in school that carried on to WADA. Bridget is happy to help Anna in anyway she can, except for moving furniture.

Brooklyn Tandy: Anna and Brooklyn were friends in school, and still hang out. Brooklyn encourages Anna to chase her passions, in work, politics, life, and love.

Louis Weasley: A pretty young man only a couple of years older than she was, he was always very noticeable to her. Everyone knew the Weasley’s, but Louis seemed something a bit else to her.

Name: Finlay Moody Age: 50 Blood Status: Pure Blood Schooling: Koldovstoretz (Russia) Occupation:  Auror Political Stance: Neutral Personality: ENTJ (The Commander)

Finlay was born the only son to a famous Auror but a paranoid auror. Whilst he was born in Great Britain, he spent much of his life abroad. His father and his mother always spoke of constant vigilance and a war brewing. Finlay didn’t know how his father knew but when the time came, he would be prepared, his father made sure of that and taught him ways to survive even without magic. It was part of his training before he even went to school.

Whilst he had expected to go to Hogwarts, even receiving his letter, his parents decided to send him to the Russian wizarding school of Koldovstoretz instead. The school was unlike anything he had expected at Hogwarts. It was a harsher environment where he had to quickly learn Russian and attempt to fit in. He was enrolled under his mother’s maiden name and though he was in a new place and had his father’s voice reminding him to be vigilant, Finlay was quick to make friends with his quirky behaviour.

As he completed his schooling at Koldovstoretz, his father told him to stay away from England. The rise of the Dark Lord had begun and so had the fight. As much as Finlay wanted to return, he wouldn’t dare defy his father. Instead, he began training as an Auror, wanting to follow his father’s footsteps. When reports came of his father’s death, Finlay finally returned home. He did not fight in the war, instead he stayed with his mother and mourned the loss.

After Voldemort was defeated, Finlay presented himself to the new Minister for Magic and applied for a position as an Auror. At first, no one believed he was who he said. It was difficult to believe after years of terror and deceit, so Finlay allowed himself to be examined and interrogated, explaining his past to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Once his parentage was confirmed, he went to work trying to fix the country his father died for.

Now a days, he is happy to be apart of the community his father fought to protect. At first, he felt out of place but quickly fell into the regular pattern of life as an Auror. With the new threat looming, Finlay stays on his toes, constantly vigilant for a new issue to arise. He is comfortable stepping back and remaining a neutral party to the situation, but he will do his part when he has to.

Hawthorne Page: Also an auror, but Moody thinks he’s a player and not serious enough. Hawthorne seems bothered by his opinion but rarely does anything to disprove Finlay’s opinion. 

Stanislav Krum: Whilst Stanislav is younger than Moody, they seem to have fallen into an accidental friendship over some drinks at the Leaky Cauldron one night. 

Margot Skeeter: An ex-girlfriend and somewhat of a regret for Finlay. He’s not sure who was at fault when their relationship ended, he only knew it was a wild ride.

Name: Molly Weasley II Age: 27 Blood Status: Halfblood Schooling: Hogwards - Ravenclaw Occupation:  Wand Maker Political Stance:  Anti-tech (W.A.T) Personality: ENFP (The Campaigner)

In such a big family, Molly flourished. She was the cousin who always knew everything that was going on, either because she was part of it or someone decided to tell her about it. Most of the family said she took after her grandmother and namesake. As one of the older members of the Potter-Weasley clan, Molly took it upon herself to make sure everyone was taken care of and no one ever felt left out, which could happen in a big family. She always looked up to her grandmother and tried to be like her in anyway she could, including learning to knit.

When she made it to Hogwarts, she was quickly sorted into Ravenclaw. Whilst she was disappointed it wasn’t Gryffindor, she soon found out that she fit quite well in the house. Molly had always been a bit out there and among the Ravenclaw students, she didn’t feel like she stood out as much. As she moved her way through her schooling, she quickly became the person other Ravenclaw’s came to for a talk or comfort and because of that, she was chosen as prefect and in her final year, Head Girl.

Her father had wanted her to become involved in the Ministry somehow but Molly found her interest in the crafting of wands and other magical items. The study of magic wands was what drew her into the profession. It took some time to convince Ollivander but he took Molly on as an apprentice and has been teaching her everything she may need to know about crafting wands. It’s hard, long work but it is rewarding. Being able to see a new witch or wizard hold their wand for the first time was the best feeling, knowing that she had crafted the wand herself made it even better.

The art of wand making is sacred and takes special care. It is why she is hesitant to allow muggles access to their magical world. While she enjoys technology even though she didn’t grow up with it, she likes being able to use a phone and social media. She doesn’t believe this means muggles should be involved in their world as well. Magic is all about secrets and only the bravest sought them out. To Molly, magic is a privilege and not everyone should be privy to it.

Fred Weasley: Fred and Molly are the same age, and in a family of so many cousins, that counts for a lot. She can usually recruit him to assist in herding the family and they occasionally lovingly commiserate about younger siblings. 

Lucy Weasley: Molly is Lucy’s number one cheerleader and wants to support her in anything she does. Lucy may find this a little much sometimes, but she knows her sister always means well.

Margot Skeeter: Though Molly reads the gossip eagerly, she takes issue with her family being misrepresenting within its writing. If anyone would know the truth on such matters, it’s her.

Name: Louis Weasley Age: 21 Blood Status: Halfblood Schooling: Hogwarts - Hufflepuff Occupation: Model Political Stance: Maggle United Personality: INFP (The Mediator)

Louis was born the third child, and only son to Bill and Fleur Weasley. He grew up the youngest of the cousins and was always the baby of the family. At family events, it was likely to find Louis at his mother’s or grandmother’s side, listening as the women spoke of the world they had lived in and the stories they had. As he grew older, Louis found himself in the kitchen with his grandmother, learning how to cook like she did and was always happy to be a helping hand.

When the time came to go to Hogwarts, Louis was glad that he wasn’t alone. He had Lily and Hugo by his side so he went in with two friends which was more than most. When the sorting hat was placed upon his head, he heard the voice whispering about where he would belong. The truth was, Louis wasn’t sure himself. He didn’t think he had the brains like his sisters and he had never been particularly brave. When the hat spoke, it was Hufflepuff that was chosen and Louis realised he was happy with this choice. Hufflepuff was a good fit for the youngest Weasley. Not only was it full of people who became good friends but it was also close to the kitchens which gave Louis a chance to sneak in and cook when he felt home sick.

During a family trip in Paris, Louis, who was sixteen, was scouted by a modeling agent who saw Louis’s beauty as potential. It was at a time where Louis had started thinking about his future and realizing he didn’t know what he wanted to do or be. The muggle modeling agent asked him to do a test shoot and, to the chagrin of his mother, Louis went along. It turned out that he was very good at modeling, having the natural beauty and charm that came from being part Veela, the agencies fell in love with him. His mother did not want him to do it but after some talks with his father, it was agreed that he could become a model.

Louis chose not to go back to finish his seventh year at Hogwarts. Instead, he stayed in France and became an overnight sensation in the muggle world. As he had always grown up as part of the wizarding world, the change was like a culture shock. It took a few months for Louis to become acclimated with the muggle world as he had to learn how to use phones and social media apps. If he wanted to be successful, he needed to be part of the social society and he knows without it, he might not be as successful as he is.

Now, Louis is a known name in fashion for both muggle and wizarding worlds. He knows it isn’t a job that can last forever but it is helping him create a life and savings for himself for when he can’t model anymore. The talk of wizards and witches using technology is becoming a more prominent debate and Louis has always stood on the side of pro technology. He sees it as a useful tool in both worlds and doesn’t see why the magic world would limit themselves like that.

Victorie & Dominique Weasley: His sisters who have stood by him and that he loves dearly.

Lily & Hugo: They went into Hogwarts together and, despite how different their experiences were at school, they still remain good friends.

Nora Greengrass: Being another fellow model, both have gotten to know each other on photo shoots and at events and become friends.

Name: Hugo Granger-Weasley Age: 21 Blood Status: Half Blood Schooling: Hogwarts - Gryffindor Occupation:  Unspeakable Political Stance: Neutral Personality: ISFJ (The Defender)

Hugo was born as one of the last kids in the Potter-Weasley though he always knew he had a place in his family. Where Rose was perfect at everything, Hugo wasn’t nearly as academically gifted.  Hugo wished he could live up to his mother’s expectations but he found his interests elsewhere - in his father’s bag of tricks and in his mother’s books. It was easy to allow Rose to shine and fade into the background, his father was always his closest support, reminding him that he wasn’t great at school either.

Once he arrived at Hogwarts, he was happy to be sorted into Gryffindor and found a place amongst the rest of his cousins and family. When your mother is the Minister for the Ministry of Magic, everyone already knew who Hugo was and it took time for him to find out who was a true friend and who wasn’t. He was happy to get through school with his small group of friends and mediocre grades.

During his third year, Hugo had his first premonition. It didn’t happen in divination, which might have helped his grades, it happened in the evening while he was working on an essay. His parchment became a mess of blotted ink but within that ink he saw the death of a student in a freak accident. Not knowing what to do with the information, or if it was even real, Hugo kept the premonition to himself. The next day it came true and the death was witnessed by one of his cousins. Realizing that it could have been his cousin and he had said nothing, Hugo knew  he couldn’t keep it to himself anymore and he reported what he had seen to the Headmaster.

From there on, his lessons in divination became more serious and intense. By his seventh year, it was clear that this was what Hugo had been born to do, much to the chagrin of his mother who scarcely believed in the practice. Graduating with decent OWLs, Hugo was offered a job as an Unspeakable in the Department of Mysteries. His unique ability as a seer is vital to the department and the Ministry in helping to avoid disasters with his prophecies.

Now that there is rising debate about technology, Hugo is focused on what the future could be. As a wizard who grew up around muggle technology, he has no aversion to using it to better his life and very much enjoys having a refrigerator and Netflix. That doesn’t mean he wants the muggle world involved in every part of the wizarding world. While he remains neutral, he knows that something is coming. He’s just not sure what it is yet.

Rose Granger-Weasley: Hugo has always felt so completely different to his sister. They seem to be each other’s opposites in every way but there’s always been an immense amount of love and respect between them. 

Lorcan & Lysander Scamander: The twins have always been the two most interesting people in the world to Hugo. He considers them both to be friends and would do anything to help them out. 

Stanislav Krum: A fellow unspeakable, the pair find it fun to allude to everything they know but can’t talk about. It can be a lonely career so why not poke fun with it?

Name: Aijey Gupta Age: 30 Blood Status: Muggleborn Schooling: Hogwarts - Ravenclaw Occupation: Breaking News Correspondent for The Daily Prophet Political Stance: Maggle Untied Personality: ENTP (The Debator)

Born into the third generation of immigrants from the Rajasthan state of India, Aijey lived a pretty decent middle class life. Though his grandfather had come over as a soldier after World War II the rest of the family pursued financial goals that kept them closer to home, Leicester to be specific. He spent his younger years with his uncles cheering on The Foxes while his mother had weekend surgeries. The eldest son in his two child family Aijey didn’t need to parent his younger sister as she was even more disciplined then he was. When he received his letter to Hogwarts it was his little five year old sister who both believed and rationalized it before he fully processed it.

Hogwarts was an entirely crazy adventure to him that he documented constantly burning through journals faster than he could chew through a five pound box of licorice wands. It was more than once or twice that this fascination with the on goings in school got him in trouble. Still his thirst for current knowledge had him fitting right into his house at school even if his name was yelled one too many times from the common room. It was this fire that got him addicted to submitting articles to the Hogwarts Chatter, the weekly student run newsletter, eventually earning him a Senior Editor position during his seventh year. With Editor in Chief just out of his reach Aijey could feel that tingling sensation of adrenaline pushing him towards a new goal. Finally a graduate Aijey was unsure of what world he wanted his foot in more. The one thing he couldn’t avoid in the muggle world was university. It was torture not being in the field, but his time at uni was important to him. It was luck that the Institution of Muggle Studies was able to place him in the City University London for journalism, as that way he could still work part time interning at the Daily Prophet The years he spent straddling both worlds allowed for an appreciation of the different lifestyles even if his apartment was filled with cauldrons of leftover takeout Indian, spellbooks stuffed with international newspapers and a long list of would be significant others who couldn’t handle being second to journalism.

These days he’s a solid top breaking news correspondent with The Daily Prophet often going on the Wizarding Wireless Network to debrief the audience on current muggle situations that may affect them. He’s found himself drawn to Maggle United after many sit ins with Abraham Grant and knowing from personal experience how hard it is to live a dual life.

Abraham Grant: Often a guest speaker on Grant’s radio channel the two have formed a good working relationship that is starting to be an actual friendship.

Margo Skeeter: A fellow co-worker at the Prophet, Margo and Aijey deal with different subjects the two often share words around the water fountain at work.

Atticus Wood: Both keeping odd hours as a journalist and a nurse, they tend to end up at the same coffee shops and having chats.

Name: Caoimhe Murphy Age: 23 Blood Status: Muggleborn Schooling: Hogwarts - Gryffindor Occupation: Secretary for Puddlemere United Political Stance: Anti-tech (W.A.T.) Personality: ENFP (The Campaigner)

Growing up in a small Irish village, Caoimhe always knew there was more to the world than she was told. At night she’d catch glimpses of what she thought were the Will-o’-wisps from her Grandmother’s stories, but were actually Hinkypunks. From a young age unbeknownst to her she was surrounded by magical creatures. Gnomes lived in the fields behind her house and the nearby woods were inhabited by wood nymphs and trickster leprechauns. As a young girl she’d play in those fields and woods with friends, always spotting those small creatures where her friends couldn’t see them.

When she received her letter to Hogwarts no one was sure at first if it was real or not, but figured even if it was fake they’d get a good London vacation out of it. It was only once they’d passed into Diagon Alley that it all hit home and little Caoimhe was thrilled to find out magic really existed. Her gran had always told her it did, that her country was full of magic and now here it was, all laid out in front of her. Going to Hogwarts and being sorted into Gryffindor was like a dream come true.

Quickly, she became best friends with Atticus Wood and she watched on the sidelines as he seemed to break every bone possible. He taught her much about the Magical World including introducing to her quidditch, a game that would quickly become one of her favorite things. Even though she had no talent on a broom and was quite frankly a little scared of bludgers she still had a passion for quidditch. She soon read every book in the Hogwarts library on the sport and became an avid Puddlemere United fan.

With her school years quickly coming to an end Caoimhe found herself adrift, no longer interested in her previous choice of career. It was then Atticus stepped in to help her, his father’s connections getting her a job as a secretary at Puddlemere United. It seemed at first like a dream come true. She could get to work for her favorite team, what could be better? Only she wasn’t prepared for the boredom that came with being a secretary. Now she wonders if she made the right choice and if there was something better out there for her.

Atticus Wood: Best friends since school, Atticus helped her get her position as secretary to Puddlemere United. She’s grateful, though has started doubting the degree of excitement the job was supposed to hold.

Olivia Chapman: Reserve player for Puddlemere and a witch from the other side of the pond. They share stories about each other’s countries of origins and Caoimhe helps Olivia adjust.

Molly Weasley: Though they went to school at the  same time, they did not know of each other until after. Both are members of W.A.T. and attend meetings together and there they found they agreed on quite a few things.

Name: Digby Montague Age: 25 Blood Status: Pureblood Schooling: Hogwarts - Hufflepuff Occupation: Curse Breaker Political Stance: Anti-tech (C.O.W.) Personality: ESTP (The Entrepreneur)

Not quite first in the family, things are different for him compared to his sister. He learned most things from her, looking up to and admiring her, taking in her advice on how to not make a complete idiot of himself. But he could never have an icy heart like hers. Life was too grand to take it all so seriously. While she was learning spells and getting ahead, he was taking every second. Starting classes took much time out of his fun, but he managed to make it work.

A few years in and he found himself immersed in quidditch, letting it consume his time. He was a good player, a great player, even. The thrill gave him a rush, but even the rush couldn’t drown out the pressures his family put on him, expecting more from him. When OWLs and NEWTs came around, he took a note from his sister’s book and got serious, studying the best he could without overloading himself. Luckily for him, it paid off.

Of course, he couldn’t stay serious forever. He seeked that thrill, eventually finding it in curse breaking. The travel and the chance of death and danger? It got his heart pumping and he was hooked. Digby manages to take it seriously when the situation calls for it, becoming a skilled curse breaker.

But even curse breakers are in constant danger, despite knowing what they are doing. If muggles were as thrill seeking and curious as him, they were bound to get themselves killed. He does appreciate what they bring to the table, though. He is an avid cell phone enthusiast, and very big on selfies of him and his adventures.

Fern Montague: There is no one he looks up to more than his sister, but he is his own person despite her influence. In fact, he manages to influence her.

Margot Skeeter: Despite knowing she does gossip, he likes to flirt with Margot and tell her about his work, hoping she’ll write about him.

Bryon Sloper: Bryon manages to be the chill friend that Digby needs to keep from doing anything too eccentric.

Welcome!  As of right now, we are considered Ashes of Magic at a soft open. We’ll have an official open on Saturday, Sept. 16. Two weeks after that, we will have up our first prompt and first event. Take this time to settle in, have fun, and get to know each other and your characters.

Name: Olivia Chapman Age: 22 Blood Status: Muggleborn Schooling:  Ilvermorny  Occupation: Reserve Chaser for Puddlemere United Political Stance: Neutral Personality: ESFJ (The Consul)

Olivia was born in South Korea, but adopted at nine months by a loving American family who had no idea what their new little girl would turn out to be. Growing up in Colorado with two older brothers, Olivia found herself wanting for not much in life. Her parents keen on keeping her connections to her home country enrolled her in Korean language and culture classes from an early age. They themselves even learned Korean, not wanting their new daughter to feel a disconnect from her home culture.

With two older brothers involved in sports she found herself wanting to emulate them and soon joined swimming and soccer teams. The whole family often went skiing in the winters and that was where she first discovered her magic. Determined to prove to her brothers she was just as good as they were she took off on her own, choosing a black diamond trail to ski. Even though she’d been skiing for all her childhood she wasn’t prepared for the slope and quickly lost control of her descent. It was just as she about to crash into a tree that she closed her eyes in fright and all of a sudden she was at the bottom of the slope, safe and sound. She never told anyone about what had happened and later apologised for taking off like she did.

Determined to learn more about what had happened she searched in the internet, but found nothing that could explain her teleporting halfway down the mountain. It wasn’t until she received her letter for Ilvermorny that things started to make sense. It was at school that she learned of apparition and realized that her unconscious magic saved her life. Her parents baffled at this new strange turn in their little girl nonetheless threw themselves into magic culture just as they had done with Korean culture. When she showed proficiency on a broom they bought her one for her birthday and often during the summers would go camping so she could fly freely.

On the broom she found a love of quidditch and quickly excelled at it joining her house team in her second year. After school she was scouted by Puddlemere and with a teary goodbye to her family moved to England to start her career as a professional quidditch player.

Caoimhe Murphy: Caoimhe is the Puddlemere Secretary and happily socializes with the players she meets in her job. She made friends easily with Olivia and they often have drinks and talk about sports, life, and everything else.

Peter Chambers: Peter and his brother are also expats and even played Quidditch at Illvermony at the same time as Olivia. He moved to England to try out for teams in the area. They’re not well acquainted, but he’s sure if she can do it, so can he.

James MacDougal: Huge fan of Olivia’s Quidditch career thus far. He’s a reserve player for the Chudley Cannons and wants nothing more than to buy her a drink and ask her questions about technique, experience, and Quidditch across the pond.

Name: Cordelia Avery Age: 36 Blood Status: Pureblood Schooling: Durmstrang Occupation: Secretary to the Head of the Improper Use of Magic Political Stance: Anti-Magic (Secretary and founding member of C.O.W.) Personality: ESTJ (The Executive)

Cordelia was born during tumultuous times. Pureblood families were on the rise, or so they thought, until Lord Voldemort was taken down yet again and her very own father was taken in for Violence Against Muggles along with a slew of other reasons. Her mother had deniability, and a child as well, so she was let off the hook.

Her mother was stern, not sending her to Hogwarts were other children her age attended, but Durmstrang off in the cold. The change of things in England left her mother feeling Durmstrang might find daughter more of appropriate peers. Cordelia wasn’t pleased, but it grew on her, along with a taste for fine furs and a dash of Dark Arts. It wasn’t her fault that was where she excelled. Cordelia made many connections there, including another child of the left out Purebloods, Dane Avery. A joining of the two families was arranged easily enough, and they married upon graduation. They actually even enjoyed each other’s company, which is certainly a plus with these things.

Cordelia went into Ministry work quickly upon returning home, not much for being a homebody now that her toes weren’t freezing. Dane didn’t love this, but he didn’t argue either as it clearly made her happy. She moved along the ranks up to Secretary for the Head of the Improper Use of Magic Department. Cordelia is blatantly Anti-Tech. She was one of the founding members of Children of Walpurgis, even acting as their secretary to keep meeting minutes and create newsletters and pamphlets to release to the public. However, she refuses to talk about it at work unless she knows she can get away with it.

Dane Avery: Cordelia’s husband supports his wife’s endeavors, except for her interest in working. He would much rather she focus on home, him, and maybe having children.

Fern Montague: Cordelia’s darling cousin. She encouraged Fern to become involved with the Children of Walpurgis considering they clearly agree on the matter of technology and muggles.

Stanislav Krum: Cordelia feels that Krum would be an excellent addition to the Children of Walpurgis and tries to subtly test his interest.

James was the oldest Potter child. He could see his parents loved each other very much and were both caring people. He grew up wanting for nothing, but not exactly spoiled either. His mother did her best to instill a good work ethic in him while his father tried to keep the whole lot of them humble. But James couldn’t help that he was the son of The Harry Potter and Ginerva Weasley. No one would call him a bad child, but he was rambunctious, high spirited, and let’s face it, loud. The addition of siblings, not to mention time spent around cousins was exactly what he needed. The boy clearly thrived on people. He loved being in charge.

The minute James touched the Sorting Hat, it declared him Gryffindor just like his parents, grandparents, and so many uncles and aunts. James was determined to do them all proud. Of course, when it came down to it, school was hard. He had to actually apply himself instead of flying through things. It was through hard work and study groups that he kept good grades in most subjects. Charms held a special interest to him, he especially enjoying giving something stationary life. A favorite trick of his was animating paper airplanes.

James saw his siblings through school, of course they found their own niches, but he did what he could. Meaning he both helped them and teased them as any older brother is likely to do. At times, it seemed like he wanted to form a rivalry with Albus, but the boys were simply too different. Luckily James found a great distraction in the Quidditch team. His family had told him story after story of Quidditch adventures, and flying had fascinated him since his youth.There was no way he wouldn’t pursue the team. James was a natural Chaser, and a decent Seeker in a pinch. He did his best to get his family to also join in, but it was more successful in some situations than others. He sometimes wondered if getting Roxanne to join the team was a good idea, as she became  the first to call him out, not to mention to catch the Snitch. Much to her chagrin, his last two years saw him flying high as Gryffindor captain.

After graduation, James kept after his Quidditch pursuits under the advice of his family. They wanted him to pursue what he loved. After a few tryouts, James found himself firmly appointed to backup Chaser for Tutshill Tornados. This year, he was upped to first string. James made sure to let everyone know who asked, he was terribly proud. The first person he told was Dominique, then his parents.

James claims he’s neutral when asked in public interviews, but his family knows he enjoys his magic enhanced cellphone and casual use of wizardly social networking.

Albus Severus Potter: Brother and favorite person to tease and bother. Though they went to different Houses, James sees that as no real negative judgement of character. Of course, he doesn’t often say that to his brother’s face.

Roxanne Weasley: Cousin and oldest rival. They were on the Quidditch team together, and Roxanne will never let him live it down that she was the better Seeker.

Dominique Weasley: James and Dominique entered school about the same time. They’ve always been close, and she’s the first he invites to any big game and the first he’ll ask about weird creatures he sees on tours.

Name: Stanislav Krum Age: 27 Blood Status: Pureblood Schooling: Durmstrang Institution Occupation: Unspeakable Political Stance: Neutral Personality: INTJ (The Architect)

Growing up in Bulgaria, boys were expected to be tough. Luckily for Stanislav, his mother embraced his gentler side, even encouraging it. Because of this, he grew up to be a tough man, built strong, but with a curious mind, nose buried in whatever new interesting book he could find. Many expected him to be inclined to smash other people into the ground, but he only ever showed them that it was possible when they insulted a fellow bookworm.

He never liked attention, preferring to shy away into the background, but he was known for his family, never able to hide away for long. It only got worse when his father came back out of retirement in 2014 and returned to quidditch. The attention and questions he received drove him up the wall, leaving him embarrassed and even more shy. By the end of the season, though, he was excited for his father’s win, really getting into the game.

Life slowed down again after that. After graduating from Durmstrang, he took to traveling, eventually landing himself in his mother’s home of England. There were more muggles around here than at home and it was here he got really acquainted with them. Starting with a desk job, he began working at the Ministry soon after his move. Despite what others said, Stanislav really enjoyed the work.

His pursuit of knowledge didn’t end there, though. Eventually, the position of ‘unspeakable’ caught his eye and he immediately applied. He doesn’t mind having to keep the knowledge he gains from his work to himself, but it’s opened up his mind. With the kind of wisdom and spells wizards have, they could improve the lives of so many people and advance so much technology and knowledge if they shared it with muggles. This, too, he keeps to himself.

Rose Granger-Weasley: Penpals that share and debate views with one another. They wrote often to one another during school years and still do due to schedules not always syncing, but also insert the occasional tea or lunch.

Finlay Moody: Both attended schools outside of the country and work within the Ministry. They also both have father issues.

Cordelia Avery: Older Durmstrang alumni who offers to help Krum make English connections and the reason he often finds newsletters from the Children of Walpurgis on his desk.

Name: Roxanne Weasley Age: 25 Blood Status: Halfblood Schooling: Hogwarts - Gryffindor Occupation:  Radio Host (Quidditch correspondent on Quaint Quarterly) Political Stance: Neutral Personality: ENTP (The Debater)

Roxanne came up in a house with jokes and kindness. It wasn’t until she was older that she could really see the sadness in her father’s eyes, but in her youth, he concealed it well. The kids grew up learning the value and need for humor, but also the structure of business and the basics of keeping life upbeat. Quidditch games were regular fodder, as were hours helping clean the shop and sort the jokes. Intelligence with a twist was how she often thought of it.

When she headed off to school with Dominique and James, she immediately tied herself to them on the train. It was strange to be away without her parents or her brother. She even went so far as to get James to hold her hand, which in turn popped off before she left the compartment giggling. It certainly eased her tension.

The hat sent her to Gryffindor along with James, while Dominique was sent elsewhere. Roxanne had known from an early age that her family was a recognizable name, people knew who she was and who her father was. But they knew who James Potter was first, and she was worried about getting lost in his shadow. Roxanne wasn’t a stellar student, she decided she was going actually enjoyed her time in school by playing pranks and gaining a level of notoriety amongst the staff. After the first few years, she figured out the places she liked being, and had fun with the rest.

When James joined the Quidditch team, she couldn’t resist the chance to take him on in public with something she knew she was good at. Roxanne was brilliant with trick turns and quick maneuvers, not to mention her reflexes led her to be a magnificent Seeker. She did her mother proud on that front, which left her not as worried about her academics. Her career was only school based though, her quick wit and wide knowledge of tactics left her wanting more.

After school, Roxanne found her way to the Wizard Wireless Network by way of one of her father’s best friends, Lee Jordan. The internship was a different experience for her with fetching things for hosts and learning the equipment and spells used for transmission. The whole process took some getting used to, but it was easy after the first month or so. Now she actually features on a couple of productions, including the Quaint Quarterly as their Quidditch correspondent. She’s hoping to be able to produce her own show soon.

As far as politics go, Roxanne as a firm neutral stance. She’s happy to play a little devil’s advocate if she’s bored though.

James Potter: Favorite cousin, but biggest rival. She lives to tease him and knock him down from his high horse, but she wouldn’t stand for someone else doing the same if it was in a malicious manner.

Abraham Grant: Abraham was already working at the radio when she joined up. She’s had a turn being his intern and still runs errands for him if he asks nicely

Caomihe Murphy: Fellow Gryffindor and Quidditch enthusiast, she wasn’t close to the younger years, but when she heard Caomihe had a position with Puddlemere, she made the time to catch up.
