i know that we have only had a slight glimpse into the midnights era as of this exact moment, but it is so incredibly clear to me that taylor has crafted an honest, soul-baring compendium of stories that will bring us comfort and make us feel understood and less alone during our darkest nights. being vulnerable is so scary and difficult — even more so when you are revealing a number of your fears, deepest scars, and lowest moments to a world full of people who have been perpetually praying on your downfall — so i hope she knows how thankful we all are that she has kept the door to her heart open.
