a body literally doesn’t have to fit anyone’s aesthetic for its owner to be:

fun to be around

worth listening to

allowed to wear whatever they fucking want

allowed to be comfortable or confident

the gender(s) they know they are

desired sexually or romantically

respected

a goddamned delight

people exist for themselves; their bodies exist for them.

sometimes some bodies will fit your aesthetic but that’s not what they’re for and it’s nonsensical to have expectations about how anyone’s body (even yours!) should cater to your taste in visual art.

Some real life shiat

Been going thru some real life experiences...i was going through a divorce, then i started seeing another guy (thinking that would be better)...its a guy i have known for half my life. And he has been in the friend zone for about 12 years...probably longer. He has always "been in love with me". So i went at him with overwhelming dedication. And what happened? .....i got my heart broken...i went outside of my marriage, i saw....and i did not conquer...i saw that everyone in this day and age is all about "me, myself and i" no one can see past their phone. There is no such thing as selfless love anymore...then i realized i had sacrificed the sanctity of my marriage for a mirage. The only man who stood by my side through better or worse I gave up, for what I thought was my soul mate. I am so grateful my husband took me back. He has catered to me. Been loving, patient, kind, gentle, peaceful, joyful, good and faithful....all while he is sufferinf from a broken heart. True love isnt pretty sometimes, but when you go through so much with each other and you still manage to pick each other up then that is a precious gift. Believe me when i tell you that people these days who truly care and are willing to stick it out through thick and thin are far and few between. Be thankful for what you have. This world has gone to hell...people dont care selflessly anymore. And idk what hurts more, this fact, my broken heart or my husbands broken heart...
