After my senior portrait shoot was over at Minnehaha Falls last night, I couldn’t help but snap a few shots at the Longfellow Gardens. So many flowers, so many butterflies!

Raising monarchs is one of the most beautiful things I have ever learned how to do. One of my amazing co-teachers at the nature-based preschool I work at taught me how and as I thought it would be a great learning experience for the kiddos, I think I enjoyed it far more than they did! Going on my third year with these beauties! Monarch mom for life :)

Made a quick stop at Amnicon Falls State Park before heading home, but we could have easily spent the entire day here. Definitely on my need-to-come-back-and-camp-here list!

Now and Then Falls at Amnion State Park. Possibly one of the most beautiful falls I have ever seen.

Explored around Interfalls Lake on Beaver Trail and Little Manitou Falls Trail which followed right alongside the Black River, soo pretty! By far one of my favorite hikes this year. Snack recommendation: cashews and dark chocolate :)
