heyo! since you seem like a cool person (no, you ARE a cool person!), what's your favorite trope? it doesn't have to be radiostatic related- but any trope! romantic or not, platonic, I don't care-
mine's "friends to enemies to lovers" :D
"enemies but one saw the other vulnerable and they slowly grew closer due to their shared trauma before they confessed to each other in a heartfelt confession with tears and yelling and a kiss"
If being “cool” these days means being someone who would lose their mind if they couldn’t draw a TV-headed demon and a deer radio demon making out—
someone who thinks about toxic yaoi every single day, draws comics, and writes fanfic about them—
then yeah.
I am fucking cool.
As for my favorite tropes!
I really like uneven relationships.
The kind of unrequited love that’s hard to ever become real.
But not the kind where the one in love just becomes miserable because of it—
I like relationships where the one-sided lover is so obsessed with love that they’re willing to use any means necessary to have the other person.
I think I also just… really like characters with sociopathic tendencies.
Characters who are incredibly smart, completely sure of themselves, who always know what they’re doing and exactly where they’re going—
and then, completely unintentionally, they end up feeling something they never planned to feel,
and that emotion ends up changing their entire life.
That kind of plot has honestly dominated my interests for most of my life… lol.
I’ve liked characters like that for a long time, and I’ve shipped them plenty too,
but I think what really drove me insane about Radiostatic is the fact that both of them fall into that sociopath-adjacent category.
So yeah, the conclusion is:
I really, really love Radiostatic.
It’s a total strike zone for me.
Just as a side note—
the character I was most obsessed with for about two years until very recently was Astarion from Baldur’s Gate 3.
I genuinely thought no character would ever hit my heart harder than Astarion did…
and then Hazbin Hotel went, “Actually, hold my beer.”
Thanks for the fun question 💕
And honestly, I love all the dynamics you mentioned too. lol
In the end, I really am just an open door—
if the narrative is delicious, I’m down for any kind of relationship.
