she didn’t have the best upbringing, her dad was stuck in the past and missed his life outside of Holbrook which caused him to turn to alcohol as a coping mechanism. her mother owned jewellery stores across america which she lost once they all became trapped here when she was 4 years old and with that they lost everything too, her mother that she once new was gone and she became a shell of the person ashlynn remembered.

growing up ashlynn did whatever she could to avoid being home, she’d stay at her friends or whatever boyfriend she had at the time, she would go out drinking and even experimented with drugs too, whatever kept her away from home she was willing to do.

her mother passed when she was 14 due to a cardiac arrest and even though she knew she should have been upset she didn’t feel much, she felt numb in a way but it was one burden out of her life and one less thing to worry about.

ashlynn has had one serious boyfriend from the age of 18-20, she still has a soft spot for him and gets butterflies whenever she bumps into him. (chase williams)

Though she has only had one serious relationship she has still had a few before and after though they never really lasted that long and since breaking up she has had a few flings and even experimented with her sexuality.

Jordan was stood with his hands shoved into his jacket pocket, he was deep inside his own head trying to list all of the things he still had to get done today when the sound of singing interrupted his thoughts. His head turned towards the direction of the voice and his sights landed on Ashlynn. He made his way over to her, taking a seat beside her as he made himself comfortable on the bench. “Clearly.” He chuckled at his friend. “Besides giving whatever public performance that was, what are you up to today?”

Ash couldn’t help but naturally roll her eyes at her friends words, a smile quickly following as she put the CD player to one side and turned to look at him. “With my vocals you should be paying me a fee for the performance. I obviously sound like I’d slide perfectly into Destiny’s Child.” She teased the much taller man. “Today?” She repeated followed by a small hum “I have nothing in mind, I was just going to relax a little. What about you? What do you have planned for today?”

“Mamma mia, does it show again… my, my, just how much I’ve missed you?” she continues with a grin as she sits next to Ashlynn. If ABBA’s playing, then Rachel will sing along like she’s in karaoke. Her next yoga class doesn’t start till later, so the brunette headed out on a walk in the park to kill time. It was a pleasant surprise seeing Ashlynn there. “Hey, you. It’s fine, I bombarded your little world, so I should be apologizing.” She grins. “I take it you’re off work today?”

Ash let out a loud giggle when the other continued on with the line perfectly, placing her CD player to one side as the other sat on the other. Ash loved her little moments with Rachel, the two of them often got together and nerded out over some sort of conspiracy theory or unsolved mystery and more often than not in the past it had gotten the blonde through some tough days. “Oh no.. you don’t need to apologise for anything. Yes, I have the day off so i figured instead of being in some dark club or shacked up at home then i may as well get some fresh air and see the sun for once.”

Chase shoves his hands into his pockets as he walks down the cement path along the park. His earbuds in his ears as his little CD player rests between his hands. He turns his head when he sees Ashlynn sitting on one of the wooden benches, pressing his lips together as he debates whether or not he should slow down and say hello. She had been the one to date him after the whole missing baby ordeal yet she never treated him any differently or tried to make sure he didn’t break into pieces. He broke up with her because a part of him was fully aware of how much better she deserved. He lifts up the hand that’s not holding the CD player and pulls out an earbud. “It’s okay,” he holds his own up. “I was too… I guess I just couldn’t resist stopping and saying hello.”

“Oh, uh..” Ashlynn stumbled over her words when her eyes landed on Chase in front of her. Things between them ended okay but that didn’t mean she didn’t feel a type of way about him too.. she didn’t want things to end but she understood why he may have wanted to call it off. “Couldn’t resist?” She smiled for a moment before speaking up again quickly, “What was you listening to?” She asked suddenly, she was unsure why that was the first thing she thought to ask but she was suddenly rolling with it. Her brows screwed slightly at the fact she had no idea how to talk to this man anymore regardless of how close they once used to be. “You want to uh.. join me?” She smiled as she gestured beside herself to the empty spot on the bench.

“Mamma mia, here I go again.. my, my, how can I resist you?“ Ashlynn sang to herself as she sat on the bench, portable chunky CD player in hand with her headphones secured firmly on her head as she sang along to the CD that was playing. She often relaxed at the park whenever she got a free day off from work knowing that she didn’t have to catch up on sleep before working late. She blonde hummed along to one of her favourite songs before her eyes flicked over to the person, a smile on her face as she slid down the headphones and hit pause on the CD player. “Sorry, I was in my own little world.”
