Beyond The Pale
Beyond The Pale is a very solid Pale Ale brewed by Fish Brewing Co. in WA and features some great label artwork. Clothing is optional while enjoying one of these beers. Heads up!

I'm so happy we were finally able to answer the question of whether or not she gets hit in the head with a frisbee. WARNING: very pasty nudity ensues.
Bakke Hill Black Lager is a Schwarzbier brewed by Fish Brewing Co. out of Olympia, WA. This beer is extremely smooth and rich but at the same time very mild. Subtle notes of chocolate and coffee from start to finish, this would be a great beer to introduce someone who is afraid of “dark” beers...
Way too cool! This is the first beer label I ever got to work on and it is SO COOL to see it animated! Trevor ROCKS.

More packaging fun. Fish Tale Ales “Vicious Circle” Amber Ale, “Hodgson’s Bitter End” IPA, “Beyond the Pale” Pale Ale, and “Ice Breaker” Winterfish Seasonal Ale, our new winter seasonal. These are seriously fun projects, and Ice Breaker may be my new favorite beer. ;)
So, I haven’t been doing much personal illustration work lately because I’ve been pretty much swamped at work designing the new beer packaging for Fish Tale Ales! This one is probably my favorite- “Beyond the Pale Ale.”

I love vintage-y things. This was such a fun job- the tree was inspired by the illustrations in a book of poetry from the 1940's called "Silver Pennies." It had all of these lovely illustrations of fairies and water nymphs and nature that still inspire me today.
Man alive! I have been SO busy lately- zero time for personal work with three invitations, moving, planning a bridal shower, trying to find a car and starting my new job (which I love! Graphic design in the wine and beer industry! Hooray!!). This one is the one we scrapped- it's currently unfinished because we ended up changing the theme. The new invitation I'm not going to post in case the bride hasn't seen it yet. :)
In other news, Ty and I are currently decorating our new place and we have a fireplace that desperately needs some sort of artwork/picture/collection over the mantle. Suggestions welcome.
Sorry everyone for not updating my Tumblr much lately! I've been SUPER busy with a million freelance jobs and trying to get my website up and functional. In the meantime, here is the illustration I am putting up on my web page.
This design was submitted for the Asian Heritage Street Celebration poster design competition a few months ago. It didn't win but it was probably a little out there for what they normally do. Either way, I was quite pleased with the result and thought I'd share. :)
