just. take for example the supposed male standard of having a big dick. who came up with that? it wasn’t women. in fact, most cishet women don’t actually like having sex with large penises because it can make piv penetration uncomfortable. & for most women who do prefer big dicks, a small one is not a dealbreaker in a relationship. & sure, occasionally women will make small dick jokes to belittle a man’s masculinity, but men did it to each other first, & women make these jokes not because they actually think of small dicks as lesser but bcus they know it’ll hurt said man’s feelings. so you can tell me all you want about how it’s so awful how men are made to feel ashamed of their dick size, but the thing is, if they actually talked to women, they wouldn’t be. it’s all male-male competitive bullshit.

whereas, for example, most cishet men prefer big boobs. & they’re the ones who came up with said standard, & the ones who control the beauty/plastic surgery industries. & to the average cishet man, if a woman doesn’t have what he deems attractive, it’s not only a relationship dealbreaker, but he sees said woman as subhuman.

most women are willing to settle for an ugly man (lots even have a special affection for ugly men), but most men will not settle for an ugly woman. it’s just not the same at all
