6 months ago when i packed my bags and left at 3am, my ears started ringing because of the bitter cold.

against all my own sense of caution, i stopped to listen for the words in the wind, even as my bare feet froze in the grass,

were you triumphant? or will you be?

as i drove the words pondered through the nothingness in my head, the blissful oblivion that crashed through me, the blurry numbness that almost made me miss my exit.

did you know that you were leaving for the last time? i want to ask my past self, even though i already know the answer. were you triumphant? i want to ask,

but i am living proof that i was.

Help me pay my mother’s 4k medical bill (and stick it to Walmart while you’re at it)

Hello masters of spook, I really don’t know any other way to ask this, but we (my mother and I) need help. Not too long ago she had what can only be described as a major panic attack, with the possibility of stroke (we can’t rule it out) She was shopping at Walmart for a shut in friend when it happened and the employees were absolutely awful to her, no one even came with the code was called over the intercom. She got more help from other customers, than Walmart – and “wally world” isn’t gonna pay a dime of her bill. She had to take an ambulance about a block away to the ER and was alone for her time there, my dad refused to go back and find her (that’s a long story) and only my brother came to her help. I was out of town at the time, otherwise I would have been at her side too. I feel really guilty about not being there, and this is my way of helping.

Her bill is 4k and some number. Right now I’m trying to do this in secret to surprise her, as I don’t really know she wants a gofundme or to even make it public on facebook. If you could send some money to either my paypal, or my kofi (the latter earns you a request of any type of content, from edits to headcanons or drabbles) it would mean a a hella lot.

Warmth and light,

Recyclable,

Fragile.

Heavy,

Tender,

Painful.

Invisible.

An empty glass,

Inside only air,

Outside only memories.

Fragile to the touch

But some say it holds beauty.

And some even want to hold it,

Call it their own.
