❝Whoever they choose for me,❞ she corrected him with a smile that bespoken for her and showed her mere consent. Her Mother had done likewise — she had been married to a man she had been told to marry, why should the Queen act any differently? She ought to do it for the good of the realm and the small council always spoke of fruitful alliances that would come in her way. ❝But I am the Queen, sweet Lucius,❞ she remarked after her momentary silence when he mentioned that she deserved the best. ❝Arianne had told me I was meant to be queen and I will be treated such as — I refuse to be one’s mere entertainment. If my husband proves himself unchivalrous, he will face the consequences — whatever they may be.❞ She would not be ʜᴜᴍɪʟɪᴀᴛᴇᴅ, she would not be dιѕнoɴored, perhaps this was even the reason the Queen’s mother did not want her daughter to be married — she merely meant to protect her. And then her face lit up with a beautiful blush and girlish laughter rose into the air, betraying Myrcella’s true age — youth still guttered in the depths of her soul. ❝You ought not to be jealous, my Lord,❞ said she fondly but the fondness was only a remnant of who the girl once was — a bright lass with kind smiles and the sun in her hair.
❝But surely, you can stay a little longer, Lucius?❞ She asked quietly, a warmhearted smile forming upon her half beautiful lineament — friends were a precious thing to her, for they indeed were such a scarceness. Or perhaps, the Queen indeed longed to find herself in the companionship of an old friend — she could not forget her past but she could as well make it worth remembering. It was the laughter she ought to remember, the earnest embraces her sweet brother often shared with her and her Mother’s loving kisses on her cheek — not Darkstar’s blade.
What good was his presence when she did not understand the nature of his feelings? Lucius hesitated, eyes downcast as he frowned. ❝ You do not understand, your Grace. ❞ His voice equally as quiet he shook his head. She would never understand if he did not act, yet he knew that chasing after a Queen was a fool's game.
But if I must play the fool then so be it.
He kissed her. It was quick. Within a few moments he pulled away, still just as quiet as he spoke. ❝ Perhaps you never will. ❞
ONE LAST THING: D&D even commented saying that they hoped the viewers didn't read the books pertaining to the Jaime and Cersei scene.
is this true? are they really that fucking stupid? you don’t need to read the books to know that was wrong. my mother, who is the biggest anti-lannister, anti-twincest, anti-everything cersei, person— she saw it & said, “… What? Did that happen in the books? It doesn’t seem very ‘them’, does it? Doesn’t he love her, for whatever ungodly reason?” & then she continued on with every reason i should hate cersei lannister, but i digress. wow look a relationship in the series that isn’t based on anything aside very real emotion!!!!!! let’s take the irony that it is basically founded on consent because wow cersei chose to have sex with her brother, she chose to be with him all these years— in a world where she is bought & sold to men & kings like cattle & forced to endure relationships with those she doesn’t care for, with those who abuse her— she chose to be with jaime because wow he adores & cares for her & she loves him too & he makes her feel whole— let’s take the very basis of this dysfunctional relationship & (if possible) fuck it up even more!!!!!!! let’s take away from jaime everything he is!!!!!!!!!!!!! let’s take from cersei the one pure loving relationship she has with another adult in her entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just still can’t past the fact they thought it would be better if they exchanged a consensual sex scene between two people who love each other for a rape scene. i don’t want to talk about it anymore. it makes me physically sick. (THE DIRECTOR’S PROUDEST SCENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) just get this fucking misogynistic bullshit away from me okay a woman’s struggle a woman’s abuse a woman’s rape is not some fucking plot device you can use for your fucking manpain— tbh i don’t even think they can attempt to say it was to further jaime’s arc actually like that scene destroyed his character totally. it’s just so totally. it makes n o s e n s e.
as far as i’m concerned, we are yet to see Cersei & Jaime Lannister feature on HBO’s hit show ‘Game of Thrones’.

Loras raised an eyebrow, “Not really,” Loras teased him, “It’s only a jest of course.” Loras knew the mark would last for a long while. The deep red rose would fade to purple soon enough.
"Perhaps we’ll have to get you one. Everyone needs one. Then maybe you’ll get on even ground with me," he said with a wry smile placing a kiss on the corner of Lucius’s lips.
❝ And what would I be? Ser Thorny? ❞ He smirked at his own crude joke, running his fingers through Loras' hair. ❝ I'll do my best to make my business in Essos quick--you are always welcome in my home during my absence. ❞
How hard would it be to kill one woman? He doubted she had many friends now that she had killed his sister. ❝ Try not to worry too much--worse comes to worse, I know how to swim. ❞
✶ Daenerys cringed a little bit when the man coughed up the sea water and follows him with her gaze. ‘Lucius Forseti?’ letting the name roll off her tongue and Daenerys walks over to him. ‘I am Daenerys Targaryen, Ser,’ she smiles polite and glances over her shoulder towards the Sea. 'I will let my man scan the beach for other survivors, Ser,' turning back towards him, 'maybe a few survived by swimming to the other side of the shore.'
Her voice carried hope and Daenerys starts walking. ‘Follow me, Ser, I have water and food,’ glancing over at him, ‘maybe you can tell me where you are from and how you shipwrecked when you are feeling better?’ She had noticed the stiff bow and knew he must be soar from swimming far. ✶
❝ ---The Mother of Dragons? ❞ He blinked, somewhat surprised. She fit the description, though he expected someone...angrier. He heard how her dragons burnt down a city--that in and of itself was a terrifying notion.
He followed slightly behind her, not wanting to put himself on the same level. He was a lesser lord--nothing compared to her--and it would be presumptuous to walk beside her as if he was an equal. ❝ Surely I owe you that much. Your kindness is much appreciated, your Grace. ❞ Lucius rolled his shoulders, limbering up as they walked. ❝ I am a lesser Lord hailing from Westeros. I came to Essos seeking vengeance, but the ship suffered damage during a storm. It was unable to make it to shore. ❞
✶ Daenerys sighs and curses while walking out of the tent. She had enough of the endless meetings and strategic plans. At least for now, she needed some time away from maps and her loyal servants.
Standing on a small dune, her gaze roams over the Sea and her mind wanders towards the future. But something else caught her attention and she walks towards the man. ‘Ser,’ violet eyes widening, ‘are you okay?’ ✶
He had not expected to hear a voice--in fact, he counted himself lucky that they'd sunk so close to land. They'd only been a few miles from shore and the current was in his favor. ❝ ---I. ❞
And he coughed up some sea water, spitting it out with a wrinkled nose. ❝ I am fine. Though I suspect the others that did not make it to shore are not. ❞ He stood up, unbuttoning his shirt so he could ring out some of the water as he made his way onto the dry sand. ❝ Lucius Forseti, my Lady. ❞ He bowed stiffly, sore from the long swim and bumpy initial start to said swimming. ❝ You would not mind in directing me as to where one could find water of the non-salty variety, would you? ❞
❝ I've the worst fucking luck with ships and ships sinking. ❞

"An’ here I thought you was a big, yellow bear. I almost made yeh me dinner."
❝ Am I truly that hairy? Or are your eyes failing you? ❞

{ ♔ } “Why would I have a drink with you when I can have one myself in my own quarters. It surprises me why you would want to interact with me as all of you peasants seem to hate me. It occurs to my mind that you all have been talking about my family and that I could be of incestuous origin”
❝ My Lord Father has said no such thing, your Grace. ❞ Truth be told, the murder of his own twin had left their family with little time to think of such a ridiculous notion. ❝ He is bed-ridden, so I came to court in his place. If his Grace would prefer, I will leave. ❞
+itslikeridingabiker;;
❝ Seven hells--can't a man mourn in peace?
What is it that you need, m'lady? ❞
+egoxistic;;
❝ Your Grace.
I cannot say I expected such a visit, though you are welcome all the same. Would you care for a drink? ❞

❝ Lower your bow, woman. I am in no mood for petty squabbles. ❞

Loras golden eyes flitted up to meet the others for a moment. A wry smile appearing at the corner of his lips at Lucius’s words. He could see the apprehension beneath the mask that was beginning to break. He was afraid. of what he could not tell. His next words surprised him entirely.
"It would be my pleasure. It would certainly let those sailors know that you belong to another," Loras replied, kissing the tender flesh of his neck softly. Loras sank his teeth into the side of his neck and sucked sweetly on the wound. A deep red already beginning to blossom. Loras placed another gentle kiss on the mark. "A flower from the Knight of Flowers," he teased.
Small beads of blood formed where the flesh had broken. The bruise left behind would last for weeks, yet he hardly found himself able to care. His breath came ragged, eyes half lidded as he grinned. ❝ I could make a joke about deflowering--would that be too much? ❞
The way his neck ached sent a jolt of pleasure through him--Gods, how long had it been? Too long. ❝ Though I cannot say I have a witty title to play off of. It seems I am at quite the disadvantage.
+knightxofxflowers;;
Loras pressed his lips against the side of his neck. Teeth dragging gently against sensitive flesh. Loras ignored the small voice that screamed in the back of his head for more. Loras let out a gasp at Lucius’s nails scraping down his back.
"You do as well," Loras said with a grin. "I would certainly hope so. Or do I need to prove you’re mine?" he asked, his lips on his neck again.
The muscles on Lucius' neck strained as his neck bent backward. ❝ Perhaps-- ❞ He was losing the calm, collected mask he often wore. A part of him was frightened--this had to go poorly, things always did--but the other, more sensible part knew exactly what he wanted.
❝ Perhaps you would be so kind as to leave a mark for me to remember you by. It would surely give me something to think about during the long nights of my voyage. ❞ He was teasing Loras. Daring him.
Then again, it wasn't so much a dare as a request--a request he was quite sure Loras would accommodate.
