I've had people ask me on both my blogs if I take commissions, I do, however it is a bit of a process due to the fact that I've experienced quite a few scams.

My commission process is as follows

For reference, each price is listed for a single character to be drawn.

Sketch - 10$

You will give me five dollars before I draw, I finish the drawing, and you give me the other five dollars once you've received it

money > sketch > money

Lineart - 15$

You will give me five dollars before I draw, I send in the sketch, you give me another five, I finish the drawing with lineart, and you give me the last five dollars when you receive the finished piece

money > sketch > money > lineart > money

Ink + Color - 20$

You will give me five dollars before I draw, I send in the sketch, you give me another five, I send in the lineart piece, you give me another five, I send the finished colored piece, you give me the final five dollars

money > sketch > money > lineart > money > color > money

Backgrounds are an extra 2 dollars

Extra characters are 1 dollar per character

The reason for such a lengthy process is due to the numerous scam messages I've seen floating about on tumblr, and for that

I WILL NOT DRAW ANY COMMISSIONS ASKING FOR PETS OR ANIMAL PORTRAITS. I AM A CHARACTER DESIGNER, I WILL ONLY TAKE OC REQUESTS. IF YOU DM ME ASKING FOR ANIMAL ART I WILL MARK YOU AS SPAM AND WILL BLOCK YOU.

The reason for the harshness is because these scams always ask for pet portraits for a gift to a relative.

Democrats held onto the Governors seat in NJ

Virginia just elected its first female Governor, flipping the seat from Republican to Democrat. And it doesnt stop there. The Lt. Governor AND Attorney General also flipped from Republican to Democrat.

Pennsylvania voted to retain all 3 Supreme Court judges in its state preserving the Democrats 5-2 Majority

Maine elected to NOT pass a law that would force people to "prove citizenship" before voting. Which is good because only citizens can vote anyway and passing a law like that would only serve to allow discrimination of POC.

Colorado voted to tax the wealthy higher to fund free school meals AND use the excess from that to fund SNAP

AND Prop 40 is looking like its going to pass with flying colours.

It wasnt all wins. Texas passed a draconian Parents rights law that allows them even more control over their children's lives - likely in an anti-trans bid and they passed their own version of the whole "prove citizenship" thing.

BUT LOOK!! LOOK AT ALL THESE WINS!!!

THE RESISTANCE IS THERE AND ITS LOUD!!! THIS COULD BE JUST A TASTE OF WHAT WE CAN DO COME MID-TERMS. If we all collectively keep up the energy and VOTE LIKE HELL we can make a Blue Wave happen and SERIOUSLY kneecap this attempt at an Authoritarian Regime!

I know that we get a lot of bad news and we get it every day. But the good is there! The regime is failing left right and centre and this can be the first glimpse at what we can do!

People can debate the ethics of celebrating his death, but at the end of the day, he advocated, profited, and built power off the violence that killed him.

I'm not saying Charlie Kirk deserved to be shot, nor do I believe in an eye for an eye mentality, but retaliation for the discriminatory and anti-American actions of the Trump Administration and their allies was eventual.

It's quite poetic that an older White man shot him with a rifle during a college event. I don't condone political violence, but it was Charlie Kirk who celebrated George Floyd's death and used it as another stepping stool to spread his extremist views.

Of course only now the Republican party cares about the assassination of political members of our community, only two months after the assassination of Melissa Hortman and her husband.

Charlie Kirk was/is nothing but a racist, homophobic, antisemetic, islamophobic, waste of oxygen that promoted nothing but further violence in our nation through the spread of extreme conspiracy theories.

I've seen my fellow black Americans shot unlawfully all the time, so I have little empathy for this single white man who eagerly promoted selective violence in our country

Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

Definitely re-emphasizing that ALL reblogs, likes, etc are awesome! So don’t feel bad/feel obligated to add something if you don’t want to, but don’t hold back if you DO wanna add something because you’re worried it’s rude.

I once read someone’s post saying “NEVER ADD A COMMENT WHEN YOU REBLOG SOMEONE’S WORK CAUSE YOU’RE TAKING ATTENTION AWAY FROM THEM” and it’s what prevented me from doing so for a time, until I became a creator of stuff myself and I can say that’s absolutely untrue. For one, I’m not a five year old who needs all the attention to be on me all the time. For another, the fact that someone would take the time to sit down and put real effort into writing something, whether as a comment or in the tags, means so much to me and is the most inspiring. Finally, you have a voice too, and you have as much right to speak it as I do :)
