Personally? I think everyone should have it. It would make the world a much more beautiful place. But, as a startouch? Well.... Have you earned your stars yet, through accomplishment or age?

Have you ever heard of any spells that allow a user to manipulate the fabric of space? Like, you’re able to put an entire room in a cardboard box, or have a pocket dimension in the most literal sense, a blank dimension contained within your pocket. Since it’s a little spacey, I feel like Startouch Elves would be adept at that kind of magic even if it’s not real (yet).

I've noticed when you were doing to ritual with Viren that you have quite exceptional sewing and embroidery skills. Is it something you've taken up since being imprisoned, as a form of keeping your mind busy? Or have you always known?

I had some knowledge of it beforehand. Minor things- embroidering symbols onto important garments, dealing with holes and tatters...

But since being here, I must say I have far exceeded what I could do then.

how would you describe the star arcanum?

A vast expanse touching every tip of the universe, far beyond human (and even some elven) perception. There is so much to it that a human would have to live for centuries just to have some understanding of it. 

Of course, they were always still look for a way. Let them try. It’s always so entertaining to see what they come up with.

They certainly exist. That’s all I really have to say on them. Though you do make me wonder how I would sound if I were female....

If your arcanum is of the Stars, then does that mean that you also are easily able to perform Sunfire magic? Seeing as what the Sun is and all...

I can access all magic...

But if you mean the other startouch elves, then no. The sun is a far different force than that of the stars.

There's a certain sunfire elf student that's been looking all over for the star nexus. They've nearly gone insane after looking for it for a few months, only to find a dead end.

To no one’s surprise. Do they really think it is so simple as searching for it?

aaravos, what do you think of parents? Im feeling quite off about mine as of late, as they are... less than accepting. They tell me i am not what i say i am, but then when i express myself they tell me i am odd. how do i move forward from that? i am still dependant, and... im frustrated. and tired.

It is a shame to see so many parents behaving this way towards their children. It seems humans have regressed since I have been kept away.

I cannot tell you a direct course of action, little shadow. I do not know you. But what I can tell you is this: no one knows you better than you know yourself, and those who believe they do more often than not refuse to acknowledge certain faults of their own selves. I have pity for the people that act like this, because they refuse to learn. But you, shadow. You are here to listen and learn, are you not? It’s not a truth many people want to hear, but it is the one that I’m afraid may be necessary in these times: Your parents are doing this because they are afraid of you. Not that you’ll harm them, of course not! But humans fear what they do not understand, and for them to understand, they will have to listen. 

Don’t let their words or actions hold you back. Even if you are currently dependent on them, it will not be forever. Unless it is absolutely necessary for your safety, don’t let them stop you from being your true self.
