arc 1: stuck in a room

the drifloon looks at the new arrival. it seems.. exited. quickly, they rush over to you and flitter excitedly from position to position.
"i haven't seen another pokemon in here in.... well, EVER! you're real, right? you're actually there!? can i touch you!?!"
they're so exited by the visitor's presence, it takes a minute for them to register they were asked a question
"this place?"
the drifloon happily gestures to the padded walls of the room. they seem ecstatic enough just having some else here with them, but the second question visibly sparks confusion in them.
"uhm, i just woke up in the room. that's all. what else would there be?"

The sudden energy from the drifblim surprised them for a moment but they were quick to relax again, chuckling at the other. “Ah I see visitors are not common for you here, you may touch me if you wish but I advise caution with my claws.” They take a moment to glance at the room again, “most places intended for living usually have more to them little one. But I suppose a drifloom has different needs.”
drifloon takes the invitation without a second thought, running their hands curiously across the visitor's. they stroke slowly, savoring every touch and the feel of the heartbeat.
(they don't seem to notice that they're crying)
don't you get lonely here?
"i'd never seen anybody else. it was just me in my room. but now i have lots of new friends coming in and out of here! so there's no reason to be lonely anymore!"
"i hope nothing weird happens and people stop visiting. that would be sad.."

"are you.. trying to give me a name? wow, i never thought someone would care enough about that to try to give me a name!"
drifloon stops and sits quietly, thinking about the proposal, trying to articulate their thought without sounding rude.
"it's not a BAD name, but i feel like if i WAS to get my own name.. i'd want to choose it myself. i think getting my own name would be a more personal or thought-out type of thingy, instead of someone else picking it for me."
"sorry to say no, but.. but no. no thank you, thank you though. but no."
(MOD COMMENT- drifloon will remain officialy nameless for the story. but for differenciation, i'm referring to them as amnesiac drifloon, and you can do the same!)

drifloon scrunches their face, trying to think of anything before they were in the room, coming up empty.
"well, if i did have any, they're gone now! if i lost them, guess i wouldn't know! it's interesting to learn about an organization, maybe they know why i'm in my room."
