“When I first came to the aquarium the end of my tail was really messed up thanks to some super tight fishing line, so they had to chop it off and give me an awesome new one!”

So, what’s gonna happen now that aquaverse is no longer a group au?

(Well, this blog is gonna stay up and running, just as an independent blog now! And along with that independence comes a bit of a reboot. Gilbert is still in an aquarium, though it’s a different one now, and all his backstory from before he arrived is gonna stay the same. Everything else is gonna change, even his design. I’ll still keep up the previous asks though just to save them. Please sit tight while mun changes some things up~)

Important announcement

Hello everyone. It’s very obvious that this AU has died due to inactivity. We only have three people active in the AU, and it isn’t fair to them that they are the only ones producing content. Even with new moderators, the AU is going in decline, so we have decided to end the aquaverse AU.

It was a hard decision to make as I’m sure the world building and interactions were fun for everyone involved, but this is just being dragged on and nothing is really happening.

To the people who still plan on being active, you do not have to delete your blogs, but they will technically be considered independent, so you can do whatever you want with them.

“Mom is always fighting with the elders because it’s hard to find and catch food. She can’t hunt, and both of the elders are old and slow. That’s why I have to get back, I’m the most awesome hunter out of the four of us!”

(While the m!a is still going on, I decided to have some fun with mermay and post some doodles and sketches of Gil as different mers! First up is an eel, which is actually the kid of mer I most commonly draw him as)

If i may, Santiago have you ever been bothered by the mers' antics? (If so, any specific repeats?)

S: “Ah, I must say that I have been pretty much in good terms with all the mers! I have slowly starting to learn their antics... but...

Gilbert seems to be rather... bothered? I want to think is that- that I look so much alike Antonio. He once said something like ‘Antonio can eat snails!’ and I stupidly tried to do it too to ‘prove myself’... it wasn’t a good day after that for me.

And recently has the chance to finally look at Franek’s information and I must clarify that no one told me that he could bite- lesson learned-”
