;; hello !! hi yes i’m still here. irl has been .. very stressful, and i haven’t had much energy to do things. once i have some energy back, i will most definitely be working on my drafts bc i’m excited about them. in the meantime i might pop in for some little posts here n there, or responding to small / silly asks if i get any, but bigger things won’t happen for a bit.

i know bart's probably put under a lot of pressure by his father to be successful in the future.. but what does bart idealize the most? happiness, or success? :D

bart's missed out on a lot of key experiences (going to uni, first serious relationship, first job etc), since he's spent all his 20s stranded on 4546b,, what experience is he saddest about having missed, if any? & what does he miss most abt his life before the crash? :')

I simply think that, after going through the horrors, Bart should get a plushie as a reward. In the form of his favourite fish he’s found.

;; bart was 19 at the time of the crash. if the degasi crash was about 10 years before the aurora crash, then that means that if bart had survived the kharaa, he would only have been about 30 when the next crash happened.

he would only have been 30. he would have just passed the age of a lot of the engineers onboard the aurora. we don’t know how old ryley is, but i’d venture to guess that bart wouldn’t be much older than him.

bart was stranded on an alien planet while people his age might have been going through university or training for alterra jobs. he was heir to a company he probably never even really got to see from a technical side ( not that he actually wanted to inherit it ) .

the survivor of a crash that happened a decade prior would have been only a little bit older than the survivor of a crash that just happened.

question: what does bart think of the sharks on earth? what is his favorite shark? :)

He likes them ! His favourite is the pyjama shark :))

He didn’t get to see many, with all of the travelling as he grew up, but he’s read plenty of books about Earth sharks. He thinks the pyjama sharks are cute … also, their name is silly.

He has not had baked food in who - knows - how - long. He will treasure these.

;; btw ! i answer asks, by default, during the time frame where all 3 d.egasi survivors are still alive ( though i do shift time period around for fun sometimes pff ) . however, you’re more than welcome to specify time period, if you want to, whether saying the time frame / verse or implying it within the ask ( aka asking something that would only make sense to ask at a certain plotline point ) !!
