“Great! Tomorrow we’ll ask around for some places to adventure!” Elicere said with great enthusiasm.

“After we sleep off these drinks of course.” He said followed by laughter.

“This is it” he thought to himself. Another adventure and another challenge worth his skills.

Luth giggled. “Yes, definitely have to sleep this off. Can’t imagine my aim would be very good right now.” She rubbed her eyes, still giggling softly. Then she leaned back in the seat and sighed, eyes half closed, feeling content. She was warm and slightly drunk, she’d made a new mysterious friend, and the prospect of adventure hung in the air. All in all, things were looking good.

“We shouldn’t ask around too much though. We don’t want too many people knowing what we’re up to. They may decide to cut us off as we’re heading back into town with our spoils. But we can go over all our plans in the morning. I don’t think I’m in a clear enough state of mind right now.”

"That's a very good point. We'll talk about this in the morning, once we've gotten some good rest." He said as he was getting out of the chair.

"Would you like me to walk you home?"

Elicere’s feathers stood up a little. His mind rattled with emotions of distrust, happiness, and confusion. He’s never had anyone, never mind a stranger ask to accompany him.

“Are you sure?” He said doubtingly, not sure if she’s saying this because of her intoxication.

Luth grinned and set the flagon down, having emptied it. Then she looked at him and nodded. “Sure, why not? I love an adventure, and I haven’t got anything else planned this week. I’m an excellent archer, and very sneaky. Just don’t expect me to get into any close combat, and we’ll be good.”

Elicere takes one last gulp from his flagon and sets it down.

“I was going to this month, but then a few drinks here and a couple skooma binges there and I couldn’t get my ass out of this tavern.”

“Hmm… well it sounds like you need someone to give you a little push. Perhaps I could be the one to do it if I get to come along for a share of the profit, and adventure.” She grinned, and winked at him before taking another sip.

“I’m looking for something with a little more adventuring. A little more danger. And a lot more loot.” He said with a grin on his face.

“Ah, so you’re thinking of doing a little plundering, then? Sounds interesting.” She lifted her flagon to her lips to take another long sip. “Have you got a location scouted out?”

Elicere takes one last gulp from his flagon and sets it down.

“Yes it is quite cold over there. But then again most of Skyrim is, aint it?”

He laughed and took a large gulp of his wine, to match hers.

“Yes I am looking for work, and Riften’s reputation is mainly why I’m here. But I’m not looking to be a thief. I’m looking for something a little more interesting.

Luth quirks a brow and leans in. “Something more interesting? And what exactly would that be? I mean, if you’re willing to tell me. I promise your secret would be safe with me.” She smiles and tilts her head, batting her eyelashes, trying to look innocent. Then she broke into laughter. “Really, I am curious, if you’re willing to let me in.”

"I'm looking for something with a little more adventuring. A little more danger. And a lot more loot." He said with a grin on his face.

This happens every time I join a new roleplay. I get so excited and instantly invested in what’s going to happen to my character that I literally refresh the dashboard every five minutes to see if someone has posted or replied to something. I feel embarrassed because I’m almost always on and the other players seem to have real lives that they’re attending to. I get so devoted to roleplays and fictional characters that I neglect other things.

Elicere’s feathers stood up a little, and he quickly swallowed the sip he just took. He quickly told her

“No you’re not pestering.”

He then relaxed I’m his chair and took another sip of his drink.

“I was born in Windhelm. I usually drift from town to town, Riften just kinda stuck for awhile.”

Luth smiled, relieved. “Good, I’m glad. Windhelm? It’s pretty cold over there.” She paused to drink, downing a large amount of the sweet and spicy wine mixture in one gulp. She hiccuped, and then giggled. “Ah, sorry, excuse me.” She sighed and leaned back in her chair, grossing her legs.

“Are you looking for work around here? You’ve probably heard of the kind of work one usually finds in Riften…”
