This is an au where Krogan was able to escape before being executed. He's currently hiding out somewhere deep within the archipelago.
Drago is looking for him, enraged that Krogan somehow escaped. Thankfully, Krogan has been able to avoid him and stay hidden.
Other important details (More things will probably be added):
Krogan has a cave as a hideout
This man is severely depressed. He has some new bruises and scars now
His view on dragons is very confusing..To others and to himself
After saving it from a monstrous nightmare, a zippleback has been following Krogan around, bringing him gifts (Krogan either doesn't have the energy to shoo it away or he appreciates the gifts.)
He wields a medium sized dagger, although he doesn't exactly need it. The zippleback protects him fiercely.
The zippleback is named Snap and Snarl
Krogan is clad in his armor and cape.
He's very curious about "the Odyssey riders." More specifically: Sparrow.
Krogan draws to relieve stress. So far it's..kinda worked.
Okay, now he's feeling VERY conflicted about his feelings.
Friends with Bucket??
He's spiraling.
Going a bit silly :>

Summary: Shell Shocked Pt.2. Viggos left captured in the dragon stables, when Snotlout and the twins decide to bother him with their shenanigans
Pls be nice to be I write this at 1am very eepy deprived
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Viggo watched as Hiccup and Astrid flew away on their dragons, leaving him captured in this cell like he was some sort of dragon.
The audacity that boy had... especially leaving him with the three imbeciles who were now approaching him.
"Well well well, if it isn't the V-man himself."
One of the twins greeted in an exaggerated intimidating voice.
Thor help him.
Viggo knew their names, but telling who was who was impossible. The small but pudgy boy beside them however, he did know. He stared at the twins, mentally willing them to disappear.
"...excuse you?"
"That's right,"
Tuffnut, pointing dramatically at him.
"We've got you right where we want you."
"Which is in a cage,"
Ruffnut added. Viggo glanced around the cell.
"I had noticed."
Snotlout snorted.
"Don't mind them. They're just trying to figure out how to make your defeat sound cool."
"I already have one,"
Ruffnut announced.
Tuffnut groaned.
"You can't use that one. It's stupid."
"Stupid?! It's better than some of the ones you had!"
Viggo just watched, confused. Snotlout leaned against the bars.
"You know, you should be glad Hiccup left."
Viggo raised an eyebrow.
"Should I?"
"Yeah. Otherwise you'd have to watch him lose at his favorite game."
"Game?"
Snotlout grinned.
"Everything."
Viggo stared at him, trying to mentally process what he could mean.
"Yes, it's true. Apparently our 'great and power leader' has a gambling addiction."
Snotlout said, pushing himself off of the bars. He stood as if he were about to announce heartbreaking news.
"I mean, it's obvious. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out there right now, gambling away the rest of our islands savings for some stupid trinket we don't even need."
Viggo raised a brow at Snotlout's explanation. Gambling? He didn't take Hiccup to be that sort of man. Though anything could happen.
"And I assume you have evidence of this?"
"Nope."
Snotlout replied, stroking his chin conspiratorially.
"Then why mention it?"
"There's no evidence to be needed! You can see it in his eyes. Behind those beady green eyes...gambling."
Snotlout exclaimed, gesturing to his own eyes as if they were Hiccup's.
"Ah. Of course."
Tuff and Ruff both let out a scoff at Snotlouts story.
"Gambling? Psh, please. The man's dying."
Ruffnut told Snotlout. Viggo's eyebrow twitched. Now what were these idiots babbling on about?
"Is he now?"
The twins immediately became serious, their expressions solemn.
"Unfortunately so..."
"His sickly pale complexion has never looked sicker..."
"Boy has death a-knockin' on his door. Except, y'know, Hiccup can't come to the door at that moment... but he's almost ready to answer that door!"
"Yeah... he's too busy dealing with some overly sophisticated man who has a weird obsession with him."
Viggo looked between them in disbelief. He almost scoffed at their description of him, though he wasn't impartial to the 'overly sophisticated' comment.
"You do realize I am right here."
"Exactly,"
Ruffnut said.
"Which means Hiccup is doomed,"
Tuffnut finished.
Viggo pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Dear Thor."
Tuffnut suddenly slapped a hand against the bars. Viggo didn't even flinch.
"But fear not, V-man! We have prepared some words for your inevitable defeat!"
"I was afraid you had."
The twin cleared his throat dramatically.
"Prepare yourself, Viggo! Because you're about to get... Vig-gone!"
A beat of silence. Viggo stared at him, unimpressed. Tuffnut kept a hopeful look on his face, expecting some sort of reaction.
"...Well?"
"That was terrible."
Tuffnuts shoulders slumped.
"Really?"
"Painfully."
Ruffnut shoved him aside.
"Step aside! Let me at 'im."
She turned toward Viggo with the confidence of someone about to deliver the greatest line in history.
"Well Viggo, looks like you've finally met your... Grim-Maker!"
Viggo blinked. Snotlout slapped a hand over his face, trying not to groan exasperatedly.
"That's not even a word, you mutton heads!"
"It is now!"
"No, it isn't!"
Viggo slowly looked toward the ceiling, silently wishing that his one legged rival had taken mercy on him and just left him at the abandoned base.
"Okay, okay," Tuffnut said. "Last one."
Viggo's eyes narrowed.
"Let me guess, another pun?"
"Don't worry. It's good."
"I've found you and I have very different opinions of 'good'."
The twin put a hand over their heart.
"Viggo, you've been defeated so badly that you're no longer Viggo. You're..."
A dramatic pause.
"...Vig-NO!"
The two twins burst into laughter.
Snotlout stared at them in disbelief. Viggo remained completely motionless, staring into space like he was regretting his life decisions. Perhaps he should have thought this plan out more.
He wanted to choke everyone in the room, himself included. Finally he sighed, glancing at the twins with a glare so deadly his brother would flinch.
"If I approve, will you leave me alone?"
The twins immediately stopped laughing.
"...Yes."
They both said at once, so in-sync it startled Viggo for a moment. He sighed in defeat.
"Fine. I approve."
"YES!"
"We gotta go tell Hiccup!"
"Yeah, so he can die with the coolest last words ever!"
They ran off, celebrating as though they'd just won a battle.
Snotlout followed them, shaking his head. But before he left he stopped, looking over at Viggo.
"Is this a form of torture for you? I hope it is."
Viggo sat in his cell with legs crossed, looking like he was one wrong comment away from killing someone.
"Oh, have you no idea Snotlout."
Viggo had never been a huge believer, but he silently praid to Odin, asking for patience to finish this mission without any unneeded casualties. Hiccup would pay for this.
...
He thought for a moment. Could the twins be right? The boy certainly looked worse for wear. A small smirk crossed his lips. Perhaps he wouldn't need to stab him in the back.
>Mitzy returned, looking much taller and more colorful than she used to. She was happy. She was in her more..."draconic" form, which just looks like a giant bat.
>She trotted over and blinked at him.
Krogan looks at her and gives a small smile. "You seem to be in a good mood," He said as he examined the bat lady in front of him.
I'm remarrying, Drago's ass is dead and I'm marrying the lovely priestess lady that helped me poison him.
She's pretty. I'm happy.
I'm also lesbian.
-@empressofwrath
At the news of Drago being dead, Krogan felt a whole weight being lifted off of his shoulders. He exhaled. "Good for you, Mitzy. I hope your wedding goes well." He smiles softly.
"I've been told that today is the first day of 'Pride month.' A month to celebrate those who aren't heterosexual, like myself. If that's so, then..Happy pride month."
The singetail came back. It was his. Well- it was Mitzy's now. She looked agitated, upset even. On her back was Mitzy's body. But she was gone.
She let out a loud, upset shriek at him, as if pleading for him to do something.
Krogan stared wide eyed at the woman's body. "What the fuck..." He hesitated, shaking before quickly grabbing Mitzy's body. "Oh gods- Oh gods.."
Krogan quickly ran into his cave, panicking. He placed Mitzy down near a small fire and wrote a quick letter, grabbing a nearby terrible terror and tying the paper to its leg before throwing it out.
He turned his attention back to the bat. He placed his ear on her chest, hoping to the Æsir that there was still a pulse.
Her breathing was shaky, her chest echoed as if her lungs were full of fluid. She was sick, very sick. Her wounds were left untreated, the ones Drago did. She was infected and now suffering.
Ruby trotted forward, she was showing more aggression to Krogan. She wasn't his, not anymore. She was more loyal to Mitzy, and she was clearly distressed.
Ruby kept letting out worried cries at him, pacing back and forth like a mama bear watching her cub.
Krogan swore under his breath. He quickly grabbed a couple of bandages from his satchel and began treating Mitzy's wounds.
"I'm sorry. This is going to hurt, but it's for your own good.." He said softly to her as he began cleaning her scars with warm water. After doing so, Krogan patched her up and placed his cloak over her as a makeshift blanket.
Mitzy winced, hissing loudly as her eyes opened. Seeing her do that made Ruby even more agitated, as she charged and grabbed Krogan's tunic with her mouth and pulled him back. She was a big singetail, and she was clearly overprotective.
Mitzy's breathing quickened as she suddenly coughed, mucus and blood leaving her mouth. As she looked, she held a hand out, which calmed Ruby down a little.
Krogan pulled his tunic back and turned his attention to Mitzy.
"Your singetail brought you here." He explained softly. He looked around before going to grab a clean cup of water. He held the water close in case she wanted some.
Krogan jotled back with a startled gasp. He quickly stood up in front of her. "Then we shall retrieve them." He replied firmly. "I'll help you get them."
