The Town of Lilywood

The ask blog of the human villagers of a town called Lilywood! ((Text only blog, I'm a beginning writer so go easy on me! This is a side blog, I follow from glaceon-crossing))

Two mailboxes flash in the towns of Lilywood and Golden, their unknowing recipients still sleeping inside of their houses. One is the outgoing and friendly mayor of Lilywood, who’s organizational and management skills surprise the people around her. The other is a blue haired resident of Golden, who lives unaware of just how many people have admired her art. The letter inside will change the course of both of their lives, as they are invited to shift their entire lives and move out to an abandoned island, a fresh start, a new light.

Miranda: Hmm... you look like you're ready for the beach... is there a beach here? I'd like to check it out, if you don't mind... (ask-lilywood)

Caroline wags her large, bushy tail enthusiastically once the beach is mentioned.

“Oh, I love going to the beach, hulaaaa! It’s one of my favorite places to be! I’m still new to the area, but I’ve already found a beach close to here, so maybe we can go together!”

Miranda: Oh, me too. Every beach is different, but all of them are really nice places to visit... Um, yes, that would be nice. I love to see the beaches of other towns and see how they differ from Lilywood’s. Um, nice to meet you, by the way. I’m Miranda.

Kacey: Hi! I heard you like scarves! What would you say your favorite colors are? I can knit you a really fluffy scarf in those colors! (ask-lilywood)

With the young lady approaching Curlos like this, that quickly sparked  the casanova sheep’s interest. “Ohhh, hey there~ You have the right idea about me. My favorite colors are green and red. But mostly green, shearly.” 

“I’d love to see how you’d knit me a scarf. I’ll gladly be your model if you wanna try different ones too.” He said that last bit with a cheeky wink.

Kacey: Oh, like Toy Day colors! Those are really good choices! I see you already have a red and green scarf, but I can knit you a different one, with a different pattern! I’ve really gotten into knitting recently, it’s really fun! I’ve knitted a lot of scarves, some for all my friends and myself. It’s important with fall coming!

Inside of a newly constructed house whose door remained slightly open, a red squirrel started unpacking the numerous boxes inside. 

“Hmm.. this one should be the radio, right? …Oh good, it is! At least it won’t be silent while I unpack. I do wish I had someone to chat with once I finish this, though… maybe I’ll wander around and find some friends!”

The newfound motivation of finding company after unpacking gave Caroline a boost of energy, leading to her task coming closer to being finished a lot quicker than anticipated. Her furniture was never too complex anyways.

Question for you four, what animal do you think you would actually be that fits you?

Kacey: I think I’d want to be a parakeet! I love all animals, but birds especially! And my favorite bird is the parakeet!

Miranda: Hmm… interesting question. I think any sea creature would fit me, because I love the ocean. But I’m not sure which one… maybe a deep sea fish, or something similar.

Brandy: First of all, any “magical” anons out there, don’t make Miranda a fish. They’re disgusting, and more importantly, she WILL die. Now, onto me, I’d love to be a moth!

Sunny: A cat, but not just any cat. The kinds you see in castles and stuff, with royalty! The regal ones! Those are definitely me!
