Lucario is a sparky, confident kid with a passion for battling. With a strong sense of justice, she always strives to do what’s right - even if it means causing a bit of chaos along the way. She’s always trying to get stronger to protect the people she cares about.

Pronouns: He/him

Age range: 18-19

A reformed superweapon, Mewtwo is still trying to prove to the world that his reputation as a dangerous soldier doesn’t define him. Typically level-headed and logical, he strives to be a good person - and he’s succeeding.

Pronouns: Mainly they/them, but fine being called any pronouns

Age range: Mentally around 25, but has lived for millions of years

Mew is the peppy, curious, fun-loving member of the trio, who doesn’t mind messing with the other two every now and then for their own entertainment. But despite their mischievous streak, they’re always willing to help out when needed.

This found family trio may be unexpected, but they’ve grown to deeply care about each other over time… even if they ARE constantly on each others’ nerves.

Hey Flatline, have you already talked about the strange way you both were transported here?

(Mew thinks about this for a moment. So it wasn’t the Wormhole phenomenon like they thought, where the portals are ripped open at random… it was an actual being that brought them here consciously? But why? And why didn’t Mew sense them at all? They usually sense the presence of ANY powerful Pokémon warping the boundaries between universes, so…)

(…What exactly ARE they?)

Mew: “Can you describe them for us? Maybe that’ll help.”

(Flatline goes quiet, recalling the creature that had appeared before them. It all happened so quickly, but from the details they can remember…)

Flatline: “…They were small. Bigger than you, but not by much. They were some sort of… beagle artist? Or something? Some sort of dog, at least. They had this weird hat - was it a hat? I couldn’t really tell - and a really long tail that looked like a paintbrush at the end.”

Flatline: “They were this light blue color, with these ashy brown markings, and two sets of… ears, maybe? I don’t know. But they had this pattern on their face that looked… like a mask…”

(As Flatline speaks, they begin to realize something. They trail off, their gaze landing on someone specific.)

Mewtwo: “…Lucario?”

Lucario: “Me????”

(Mewtwo moves to stand next to Lucario, suddenly more tense. He knows that reasonably, they AREN’T accusing her at all - but he can’t help but feel a little defensive anyways when they call her out like that.)

(Thankfully for him, Flatline is quick to clarify and diffuse the tension before it rises any further.)

Flatline: “Well - not EXACTLY like you, of course. But they had the face markings and the round, steel bits on their forearms and all that.”

Mewtwo: “…Huh.”

(Mewtwo stops holding his breath, his protective instinct backing off.)

(But while Flatline is talking…)

Mewtwo: “…A Riolu? Are you sure?”

Cyzon: “Positive. Or, well - at least part Riolu. It looked like one, but not fully. Like a hybrid.”

Cyzon: “The other part must’ve been Smeargle- it explains the beret and the paintbrush tail… God, I can’t believe I didn’t even recognize it!”

Flatline: “Uh… are those powerful? Like, sending-you-to-another-universe powerful?”

Mew: “No. Or they shouldn’t be. Lucario evolved from a Riolu - and she can’t do ANYTHING like that. That kind of power can only be used by the most powerful Legendaries and Mythicals…”

Flatline, internally: ‘…Okay, um. I don’t know what HALF of that means. But it sounded important at least, so…’

i may or may not answer any more asks for this event, btw- i want to wrap it up with a comic like how i started it, and i wanna focus my energy on that so i don’t burn out again. so if you send in an ask and it doesn’t get answered, please don’t feel bad - it’s just for my own sanity KHSJXHD

FIVE YEARS.

on this day in 2021, I made my first post on this blog featuring these three. now, it’s been FIVE WHOLE YEARS since they were introduced. it’s insane how time seems to fly by.

i wanted to do a little more for this occasion, admittedly - but Life Kinda Sucks Sometimes™ and i ended up getting a little distracted by other things lol. but i’m still very proud of how this turned out <3

i know this blog isn’t as story-driven as some other askblogs (yet), but I’m so happy that people enjoy these characters regardless. and trust me, i’ve got plans for them - so i hope you’ll continue to stick around.

all this to say, thank you all for being here. you have no idea how much i appreciate it. here’s to the years to come <3

Kura just stares at Mew in genuine shock.

“That was… I don’t even…. HUH???? How… in the FUCK… is that a GUESS???”

“THAT WAS A WHOLE-ASS THEORY AND, JUDGING BY THEIR REACTIONS, IT WAS DEAD-ON.”

(As Flatline reels in their emotions, Mewtwo approaches them - giving Mew a stern look as before turning to the demon before him.)

Flatline: “…Yeah. It’s better you guys know upfront, anyways. Sorry for, uh… not saying anything sooner.”

Mewtwo: “No, no- I get it. That’s… definitely a lot to unload on someone you just met - and it reveals things about yourselves that you might not want people to know… so I totally understand why you were hesitant.”

(Mewtwo can’t help but silently notice the way Flatline and Cyzon seem to stand so close together - like they’re trying to protect one another. It… sort of reminds him of himself and his own siblings. Maybe these demons are family, too.)

(…Maybe they weren’t so different after all.)

Mew: “Yeah. Uh… sorry about that. Kind of just slipped out.”

Lucario: “Sorry, what was that you said earlier? About acting on impulse? And how I shouldn’t do it?”

Mew: “Oh, shut it- I know I’m a hypocrite now…”

(Mew rolls their eyes at Lucario’s jab, but they can’t stay mad at her. She’s not wrong, after all.)

Lucario: “…Weird to think that there’s a universe out there where we only exist in video games, though. Nothing more than images on a screen…”

(Before she can think too much more on it, Cyzon speaks up.)

Yippie! Everything is solved and everyone is (mostly) okay with each other! Now we can take some time to do some more chill stuff... right?

(Just wait, someone's gonna say or do something stupid like mention the psychic mind reading BS... oh wait... =] oopse~)

Flatline: “Yeah… Cyzon mentioned that already. Can’t say I LIKE that these guys could theoretically just- read our minds and figure out EXACTLY what we’re thinking in an instant. But they haven’t said anything about it yet - except for that whole thing - so maybe they’re trying to be respectful?”

Flatline: “But honestly, I’ve been considering just… telling them the truth. It might be easier for them to help us if they know what’s really going on.”

(Flatline turns away, looking more uncomfortable than before. It’s clear the idea, though necessary, isn’t one they like the sound of. They mutter to themself absentmindedly, hoping you don’t hear them.)

Flatline: “…gonna be tough, though…”

(…But someone else hears them clearly.)

Cyzon: “…Hey.”

(Cyzon, standing right next to them, gently nudges Flatline in the arm. Her voice is soft, but firm and reassuring.)

(Flatline looks down at her with a soft smile, their expression a mix of gratitude and subtle admiration. They swear, this kid’s too sweet for her own good…)

(With their newfound resolve, Flatline takes a deep breath and approaches the trio once again - with Cyzon staying right by their side.)

Mewtwo: “Wh- Mew, did you read their minds-!?”

Mew: “No? I just guessed.”

Lucario is probably Ashleigh Ball. dont ask me why, i just feel tomboy vibes from Lu and Ashleigh can do a good tomboy voice

I like the idea of Mew being able to change their voice since they go by any pronouns. I honestly picture them sounding like Michaela Jill Murphy most times tho

A serious post about drama

So, I've kinda refrained from publicly getting involved in any of this "commewnity drama" (dumb) because people make me nervous. But it's recently escalated to a point where I feel like I have to make my stance clear.

It's okay to have opinions and not like people. It's okay to block people for no reason other than you just simply get a bad vibe. Create your own peaceful online experience. I mean, hell- I don't agree with some opinions or actions of even my closest friends in life. But I either talk to them about it or keep it to myself because I know that it's ridiculous to ask that everyone is exactly like me.

I don't care if you don't like someone. If you don't like someone I consider a friend we're fine. You can stay here and enjoy my content. But if you think that just because you don't like someone or you disagree with them, then it's okay to baselessly accuse them of pedophilia, send them hate mail in their inbox calling them pathetic, or insinuate they're a child abuser? Then leave. Unfollow me, I don't want you here.

Anyway, sorry for the uncharacteristic serious post. I know that some people will add me to their list of enemies for telling them it's not okay to harass others in this fashion, but at this point that's a risk I'm willing to take.

so. end of the year, huh.

though i’d do a quick Lu Update™ since i haven’t been too talkative recently lol.

and the general consensus right now?

…….yeah um. these last few months have been… hectic. to say the very least.

(bit of a ramble under the cut - and while it’s not exactly a vent post in my eyes, i’m getting some emotional stuff off my chest. so be prepared haha)

long story short: stuff’s been happening. i won’t go into detail, but it basically boils down to Real Life Shit I Have To Deal With and A General Low Point In My Mental Health. my motivation to draw has been six feet under for a little while now, and i’m still trying to do whatever i can to get it back up. which, as you can imagine, takes a lot of time and patience.

but honestly? it’s making me feel SUPER guilty.

i haven’t been able to motivate myself to touch the crossover event on Ask Lu, Two, and Mew in WEEKS. even when i think about how fun it is to see my characters interacting, the very IDEA of putting in the effort to draw it out demotivates me. when i started it in June 2025, i wanted it to last a month - or until the end of summer, at MOST - and now it’s almost 2026. what the hell 😭

i know i shouldn’t feel guilty over something i can’t really control, and i should be able to do things at my own pace… but sometimes it’s felt like i’ve let everyone down - including myself - by not getting something done sooner. and i sincerely apologize for that.

i’ve talked with some friends about it, and they’ve helped me figure out that i’m probably just. SUPER burnt out with this project. which makes sense, all things considered - but this seems to be a repeating pattern for me. i think of an awesome project idea, i start working on it completely motivated, and i suddenly get burnt out halfway through and not touch it for weeks on end. i’m not sure why this happens - but i’m trying to figure it out and fix it for my own sake.

that being said, this event IS getting done before………. at least June 2026 LMAO. i’ve got one or two more asks i wanna answer, and then i’m wrapping this arc up once and for all o7

of course, i’m not sure how much time i’ll have to work on it, considering i’ve got Other Life Stuff going on too - including helping my dog recover from surgery (she’s fine, dw) and figuring out the whole college situation. so, as you can probably imagine, all of that combined with a lot of other stuff (and the general Scary State Of My Country Right Now but i’m not gonna get into that) isn’t exactly helping my lack of motivation 💔

i’ve been in a relatively low point mentally these past few months, with a few high points here and there - but it’s still screwing me over. but i’m working on it - i’m trying to bring myself out of that emotional ditch and back on the right track. i’ll be okay.

oh goodness, this is getting long. on that note, let me just say:

to those of you who’ve decided to stick around and those of you who’ve moved on… to the old friends and the new ones…
