((you know what? I'm interested on how you'd tackle this question Mr Cain:))
What do you think of your other version of you? I'm wondering if you are aware of them?
You know, son of Lilith this time, maybe mistaken by the other guy down bellow, there name was… Qauin? (SCP-7376)
That other, Supposedly the son of Mekhane, Qabil (Reassembled One) who is currently trying to build said “parent” back. Plus I heard he's even more colder than you are! To be fair we still don't know if he's held there against his will or not, being cooped up in there would do a number on you know!
The one who's always on anti depressants and pain killers constantly Kain (ASP-073) I learn that they’re body is currently attacked my small nano-machines that eat away at certain organs internally if he ever comes out of his pressurised chamber.
The wild man from familiar myths that you know, of the tale Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Because apparently your also them aswell…
There only some of you I can remember but I would like. Your thought on them.
There have been many interpretations of myself throughout history. Many stories, many myths, many beings who carry a name that was already burdened long before they received it. Whether they are truly other versions of myself or simply individuals who share similar origins is something I cannot confirm.
Qabil’s desire to restore Mekhane is something I understand. When someone loses something important enough, they may spend their entire existence trying to bring it back. Whether he does so by choice or by necessity is something only he knows.
As for Kain, the one suffering within his containment chamber… I find his situation deeply unfortunate. Many assume that a body which does not easily die is a gift. They rarely consider what it means to continue existing while suffering. Immortality does not remove pain. It only provides more time to experience it.
The one connected to Gilgamesh and Enkidu is more difficult. Legends change over time, and I have learned not to assume every story about me is true.
If these beings are truly versions of myself, then I hope they are judged by their actions, not by their names. I know better than most what it feels like to be condemned for something you cannot escape.
I do not see them as enemies or copies.
only others carrying a burden that resembles my own.
