Hello again, Cain! Everything good? I have an interesting question. I assume you’re familiar with SCP-096, right? Given your anomaly of damage being reflected back onto the pursuer, what do you think would happen if the foundation would show you a picture of its face?

Ah... yes. I am familiar with SCP-096, though I wish I were not. It is another soul burdened by a condition it neither chose nor can escape.
If I were shown its face, I imagine it would come for me without fail.
What would happen afterward is anyone's guess.
Every person or creature that has sought to harm me has found that harm returned to them. It is not a gift, nor a defense I command. It is simply... my curse. I have never been able to suppress it, nor direct it elsewhere.
Would SCP-096 tear itself apart the moment it laid hands upon me? Perhaps. Or perhaps its own anomaly would endure the reflection, condemning us both to an encounter neither of us could escape. I have learned not to presume that one anomaly will neatly overcome another. What I do know is that I would not raise a hand against it. I never do unless there is no other choice. If the creature suffers from striking me, it would do so because of the burden I carry—not because I wished it.
So I would ask the Foundation not to perform such an experiment. There are enough tragedies within these walls without manufacturing another merely to satisfy our curiosity.

My brother's appetite has always been... considerably more spirited than my own... As for myself, If granted such a privilege for but a single meal, I believe I would choose a simple vegetable pot pie. Tender vegetables beneath a golden crust, seasoned with herbs from a well-kept garden. There is a quiet dignity in such a dish—humble, nourishing, and made with care rather than excess.
Also because from what I’ve seen it looks rather good ^ ^
Though, if I am being truthful, I believe I would cherish the conversation across the table far more than the meal itself. After so many years, fellowship is a rarer delicacy than any dish.
