Jane smiled ” well we could go to the studio I usually can sing without a beat”

"That sounds fantastic! I can't beleive you use a studio and everything, wow. I feel a bit star struck." Misa replied.

"I sure do it’s my passion ever since I could remember and it’s nice to see people coming in with smiling faces and taking a look around" Jane did in fact love her job and would not trade it for the world. " you really wanna hear me sing? of course I will" Jane clapped her hands together happily.

"Aw, that's so sweet!" Misa happily replied "You're so nice!" Even if it was just simple things like that, those were the things she remembered most about people. "I'd love to hear you sing, Janie." She tried to return her friend's level of enthusiasm, but in the back of her mind she felt uneasy.

"That’s awesome I’ve never met anyone famous before" Jane stuffed her hands n her pocket. " Oh I work at a bakery I make wedding cakes and I sometimes do part time stage singing"

"I don't really consider myself famous, but thank you." Misa remembered the occasional times when people recognized her, it was nice to meet someone who seemed genuinely interested in her career. "You make those big fancy cakes? That must mean you're pretty artistic too." She said, imagining Jane frosting a four-tier cake. "And you sing?!" Misa asked slightly astonished "Do you mind singing something for me?"

"Misa that’s a nice name" Jane ajusted her panda hat" Are you a model?"

"Actually, I am. I didn't bring it up, though, because I'm kind of working on a side project right now." Misa scratched her arm nervously, thinking of her position as the "Second Kira". "What do you do?" She asked, trying to be polite.

Jane was taken aback by the girl she was so cheery and seemed fun. ” My names Jane” she said smiling as the girl. ” and thanks”

"No problem, Janie!" Misa put on an enthusiastic smile as she gave her new friend a nickname. "I'm Misa-Misa, but most people just call me Misa." This girl seemed nice and as much as Misa was worrying about Light, she tried to focus her thoughts on Jane.

Jane put on her pandas hat then her panda mittens. It was cute,but she felt she could at more. ” I ..guess”

"Oh, you look so cute!" Misa enthused, as she watched Jane put a animal hat and mittens on. "Trust me, you look fantastic. What's your name?" She politely asked as she awaited a response.

"Who knew costumes could be so fun?" Misa said with a slight giggle.

"Really, don’t be too down about it." He rubbed her back gently as a way to console her. "I don’t think you’d really want to meet him anyway. He’s incredibly immature and is rather unappealing in nature and physical appearance."

Misa perked up as she felt Light's hand on her back, grateful that he was spending time with her. "He doesn't sound anywhere near as cute as you!" She joked and happily gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

Why would she bring up such a touchy subject? She knew it was dangerous for her to interact with him. “You know that’s dangerous. If he meets you and pries too far in he could find important clues that leads to my, our downfall.”

"I know that, I just..." Misa paused to think of how to word her thoughts properly "was wondering." she quickly said before scanning Light's masculine features, trying to gauge his reaction. Misa silently scolded herself for asking such a unimportant question but even more for saying something that could make Light mad. That was the last thing she meant to do.
