PROTECT THESE KIDS
A sudden barrage of information from the newest game in the Bokujou Monogatari series kept me busy last week. Itâll still be a few days before I have a post ready for the third chapter of the child-generation story.
I finally got around to playing the English DLC that was released last week. Hinataâs dialogue cracked me up!Â
âŠYou killed someone, didnât you?!
By the way, his dialogue in the Japanese version is almost the same, with one exception: the line about his snow creations âfall[ing] apart as soon as it thawedâ was changed slightly from the Japanese version:
çżæ„ăăăćŁăăŠćăăźă ăȘăăȘăćŻăăăŁăăă ăă©ăă âGoing around and destroying them the next day was kinda sad.â
He didnât let his snow houses melt; he destroyed them, haha. It sounds like other kids helped him, though.
Subakiâs dialogue made me just a little sad. It hasnât been changed from the Japanese version, but itâs harder to make the connection between Subakiâs name and the camellia flower in English.
In Japanese, heâs named after the camellia (Tsubaki). So thatâs why he hopes that, if he falls in battle, heâll be as beautiful as camellia petals scattered in the snow.Â
