He smiled, a twisted half moon that graced his face almost evilly. “You have my blessing.” He said, before falling back into the water, gliding through underneath with ease.

She watches him, lays back down covering herself up with a blanket. She sighs gently fixing her sweatshirt that is like a pillow. “That’s if I can find them and my ex..”

After a few minutes, the boy got out of the pond, drying off with his shirt, and shaking his hair to rid it of thick droplets of water.

The boy’s face was suddenly graced with a smile, before he dove down into the bottom of the lake. His hands slipped into the sand, and picked up a perfectly round pebble.

He resurfaced, his dark hair slicked to his forehead.

He swam to the shallow water and held out the stone to her.

“Here,” he said, holding his palm out flat to offer it to her.

The girl looks at him, looks at the stone before taking it carefully. “It has different colors.. really pretty…” she said looking up at him again.

"Right, sure... its pretty but..." he said, taking it back and holding it tight between his index finger and thumb. "Hold it like this, and if you throw it hard enough, it could kill someone. Anyone you need." He said, placing it back into her palm.

“Dark.” He said, softly, looking down at her. “You here to swim? That is what I am here for.”

“Nah.. don’t like others seeing my scares.” She said gently. “I’ll watch you though.” She looks up at him slightly.

“Suit yourself.” He said, pulling his shoes off, then his socks. “Though, it is interesting that you are open about why you wont swim.” He said, putting his toes in the water.

She watches him, shrugs a little bit. “Normally get made fun of when I tell anyone why… no one has asked until now.” She said gently.

"Well, humans suck, so..." he drawled as he began to wade into the water. "Better not heed their words."

"Hello?"

"Hello?" A voice called back, echoing in the darkness.

Aira smiled. "I would love to."

Natemare stood and grabbed her hand, leading her back to one of his music rooms. "What do you want to play?" He asked, sliding his hands over one of the guitars.

"I've been well. Not working on as much music as I usually do, but I'm slowly getting back into doing so."

Aira reached out to place her hands on top of his. "I understand. I feel the same way." She looked deep into his eyes. "It's odd, but I kind of like it. It only means we can spend more time together, right?"

"It does..." He said, warmly as he looked at her. "And you? How have you been?"

"I'm glad to hear that." She smiled and took the cup of tea into her hands, taking a long drink from the cup. "How have you been lately?"

"Restless, mostly." He looked down into the dark liquid. "Trying to fjnd my place, you know? Everything has calmed down, and I feel a bit lost." He looked up, meeting her eyes. "You are the only thing I am really sure of at this point."

"Nate." Aira smiled back and waved. "How are you? Did Ryo treat you well?"

Natemare laughed and poured her a new cup of tea. "She treated me well." He said, handing it to her.

"Not a problem." Ryo stood and closed her eyes, a soft light glowing around her body before Aira transformed back in her spot.

Natemare smiled, allowing the first thing first Aira after waking up was him. "Aira.." he said softly to her.

"A beautiful diamond at that." Ryo took one more sip of her tea. "Well, I suppose it's time to let Aira control her body again."

"Feel free to come and visit again," Natemare said with a warm smile and a little wave. "Your company is pleasent."
