Suilanyel, Nerdanel! I hear you are married to my dear little son! It is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope he isn't running you ragged... He's a rather energetic child, but I miss him dearly.

Oh, what a pleasant surprise! It is wonderful to meet you as well.

Yes, I did marry Fëanor, and whilst we were together, he did run me quite ragged. I do miss his energy, I must admit.

It seems kind of foolish to come back at this time, considering all I've missed. Tumblr decided not to tell me about the messages in my inbox. Not to mention... well, you can imagine my dismay when Curvo comes up with, "I HAVE A DAUGHTER." And Miriel is here (helloooooo) and I'm not sure exactly what's going on.

I'd love a little updater or something.

But you cannot control the fact that you are in Mandos. If you were here, it would be a different story. You are doing all you can under these circumstances, and that's all that matters now.

I just don't understand why or how the Valar can be so cruel. I understand the idea of punishment, but it isn't just you who is hurt by their "tough love." Everything would be so much easier if we were all together again.

I went searching for an artwork that would take my mind off the cruel depiction of my favorite grandson in agony, and lo! I see this adorable piece titled “Look, father, the lights!” Yes indeed, Fëanáro was quite inquisitive! Even during his baths he would not stop asking me questions. Why, he almost wore me out enough to wish to join Miriel!
