Ori- erm...I mean Optimus, I'm so sorry all this happened to you. Learning the truth about Sentinel, Dee's descent into darkness, experiencing your own death and rebirth, losing such a close friend, the burden you now bear as the new Prime. I hope you and your friends are doing well in these trying times. And maybe it's not my place to say, but I'm sure deep down, Dee's hurting as well. I hope that there's still a way to reach him, but until that day comes, please know that you're never alone in your fight. We're all here if you ever need comfort.

Hey, guys! Sorry I disappeared, I went exploring again and got myself stuck on a sub-level that’s got really scrappy DataNet reception…heh!

But! You won’t believe what I found while I was down there! I’ll tell you more later!

Okay, it’s later now. I think you’ve all waited long enough. Sorry!

So, crazy story…but I found two things while I was down in sub-level 50. Yes, 50! First, I found a new friend who works down there, and he introduced me to his friends, and the second thing I found - totally by accident! - was inside one of their helms and came out when it fell off. Um…don’t worry, they weren’t real, it’s fine!

Anyway, it’s this little device that played a distress signal and then showed a map of the surface with a route marked on it! I’ve taken it upon myself to go on a little adventure.

Now there’s just the matter of getting D and Elita to come with me…

Yes, it’s true.

Everything you think has happened, has happened. We went to the Surface, we followed the distress signal, we found Alpha Trion and were given t-cogs, and we learned of Sentinel’s deceit.

We showed proof to Iacon, and all but the High Guard were on our side. I wanted to put Sentinel on fair trial, which would have led to a death sentence for his egregious crimes against all of Cybertron. D-16… disagreed. He executed Sentinel as he saw fit. I tried to stop him, but… he shot me. That was an accident, but he then dropped me into the Well, which was not.

Primus gave me the Matrix of Leadership and a new name: Optimus Prime. I have replaced Sentinel as a true Prime. D took Megatronus Prime’s cog when he killed Sentinel, and named himself Megatron. He has been banished from Iacon, along with the High Guards who chose to follow him. I urge you to be cautious if you intend on attempting to contact him.
