Merry Christmas and some Announcements!

[[Whew, that last post took months to finish up... Hope you guys like it though!  Now, the main reason I'm making this post is because I wanted to tell you guys two things under the cut!]]

1) New goal of one answer every week!  This blog has been on hiatus long enough, and now the Big Answer is out of the way, we should be able to go on a regular schedule!  Once school starts again, I'll mostly likely be pretty busy, but I'll try to keep to this goal for as long as I can!

2) Now selling artwork!  I've set up a Society6 store, which you can access here, and I'll look into printing pieces from a local print shop and selling them that way.  The original pictures of most of the panels from the most recent update are up there, as well as the original Ponysona 3 poster, the Equesona 4 post, and some miscellaneous pieces!  Unfortunately, most of my posts aren't high enough resolution to print, so apologies to those interested in those.  I'll post promo links here, and I may also open commissions in the near future...

Well... That was a lengthy summary of events.  If you wish to know the name of our evolved forms in the sixth picture, they are, starting from the top and moving clockwise: Orpheus Telos, Caesar, Kala-Nemi, Juno, Isis, Artemisia (as myself), Trismegistus, and Pallas Athena.  Cerberus never evolved, and Castor, I'm afraid, did not have the opportunity to.

[[This is an extremely rushed summary of Persona 3.  If you want to learn more, I would recommend trying to find a summary somewhere or checking out a few videos.  Fair warning: Persona 3 has a much more complex plot than Persona 4, so be prepared.  I didn't even touch the stuff about Pharos, Ryoji, or the events of the Answer... geez.]]

[[Ah, the engineering + video game fanatic life is a tough one…]]

[[I’ve been working steadily on the next answer, but the last few weeks have hit me with a) homework up the butt, and b) too many good games at once. (Just finished up Pokemon ORAS and Persona Q, actually!) Luckily I’m on winter break, so I have a bunch more time now to work on it.]]

Small delay until the next update

[[Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but due to a suddenly busy schedule (including a vacation this weekend) as well as this update taking a really freakin' long time, I'm going to have to push back the expected update date by one more week!  Hopefully it won't be any more severe than that, though.]]

Wait, I'm NOT dead?

[[ Well, I ended up disappearing for several months.  Major thanks to all of you who have stuck around this ask blog, and major apologies to those who came across it during the hiatus and were left in the dark!  Below the cut is just a small status update, as well as a few thoughts on the future. ]]

[[ While I don't have an update ready for you guys quite yet, I'm hard at work working on it.  In fact, here's a preview of one of the panels:

[[ Unfortunately it's a pretty big update, not to mention that I started a summer job and I have a lot of stuff to do to prepare for college within the next few days.  My best estimate for when it will be finished is within the next one or two weeks, so please be patient for a little while longer!

[[ But once I do get that up, I want to do my best to keep it up by releasing weekly updates afterwards!  Also, I want to get to know you guys better, so I will be hosting more livestreams where I will either be working on the next update or, if I have extra time, holding a request stream.

[[ Now as a reminder, the Ask Orpheus and Friends event will last until each of the Ponysonas of the SEES answers an ask.  You guys have sent in great questions already, but don't be afraid to send in more.

In order to celebrate over 600 followers, Ask Izaneighi and Friends will temporarily be Ask Orpheus and Friends, where you can ask the Personas of the Ponysona 3 cast questions!

This will last until every one of the mane main cast's Personas gets a letter, so that everypony gets a bit of screen time! An important note, though, is that the first-tier and second-tier forms are considered one Persona; for example, a letter to Caesar counts as a letter to Polydecues, and vice-versa. (However, I consider Thanatos to be separate from Orpheus.)  As for the questions themselves, they can be for any Persona that makes an appearance in Persona 3, including the second-tier forms of the guy above, and it can be during any time during the Journey, the Answer, or even during the events of Persona 4 Arena. Unfortunately, I will have to forbid Persona 4 Ultimax Suplex Hold since the whole story of the game isn't known yet.

There is also going to be a restriction on the number of letters answered, however, as the mod only has so much free time.  Each Persona will answer one question, unless they receive enough for me to consider accepting two, and only one group question will be answered.  While this seems a bit strict, please note that there are ten members in SEES, which isn't a piddling amount!  Not to worry, though: this is not on a first-come-first-served basis, so feel free to take your time thinking of a good question to ask the cast.

So please, send in your questions!  The Persona ponies of the past are eager to answer!

[Yesterday, I received the Persona pony plush that I ordered from snowtigra in her Etsy shop in real life.  I'm very pleased with the quality, not to mention Sukuna Hikona is just plain adorable!  And while the custom My Little Pony plushies seem to be no longer available, I would still recommend looking at the other items in her store (which include Naoto and Marie's hats), considering how well-made this one is.

EDIT: Turns out she does still offer custom MLP plushies!  What are you waiting for, go check it out!

BIG NEWS!!

Announcements: 1. We are changing the name of the musical from “Persona 4: the Musical” to “Midnight Channel: the Musical!” Tell us what you think in the comments!

2. A few theaters have expressed an interest in putting on a production of the musical, so hopefully in the next year it will be up on the stage!!

3. A week from Christmas, we are going LIVE to present a read through of Act 1 & 2 of Midnight Channel the Musical! We have an all-star cast coming in from all around the country to put together a “First Look” of the show as a whole. We’ll be presenting new musical numbers you’ve never heard before, so get excited!
