It's just a little fun, Lucy Goosey.

Hi, Skyler.
Where have you been?
Good to see you're gorgeous as ever.
Got my nose in the books, y'know.

Hey, kitty cat.
Can you please not talk about Aunt Vel like that?
Well, 'Auntie Vel' sure is a MILF I'd like to meet.
"She’s hot. Not Alexis hot, but…"
Can you not?
What're you talking about, ol'Lucy old girl?

She's hot. Not Alexis hot, but...
Dimitri & Diana || Future Flat
Dimitri had been so entranced in his thoughts, that he hadn’t noticed how far he’d already walked, how many faces he’d already past. He wasn’t even sure why he had started toward the train station in the first place. But her voice broke him from his trance, and Dimitri blinked several times, only to assure to himself that it was actually her. He briskly walked up to her, and he thought he would feel some kind of relief, but that wasn’t the case at all. He was infuriated with her, at this childish shit she continued pulling. Still, he couldn’t let her know that; she would have never come home with him if she saw how angry he was. “Are you okay?”
Diana cracked a small smile, reaching over to touch his forearm- as if to reassure herself he really was there. She stopped herself, her fingers brushing against his jacket before she pulled away. It wouldn't be appropriate for her to pull him into a hug in the middle of the street, especially under the circumstances.
Instead she looked up to the sky and took a deep breath before answering him. "Yeah, fine." Diana glanced over, lips already having set in a thin line. She was annoyed with him, yeah. That's why she had left. Repeating that over to herself, she couldn't help but feel somewhat pleased to see him despite herself.
Dimitri & Diana || Future Flat
Diana sighed, running a hand through her hair as the wind tousled it while she walked. It had taken her a bit to actually reach the park, seeing as it was some blocks away. But it was worth it. Being a weekday, not a child was in sight nor any other person for that matter.
She was quick to make her way to the swings, bypassing the seesaw, slides and monkey bars. Those didn’t have the same calming effect that the rocking of the swing did. Sitting down, she shifted and felt the money in her pocket press against her leg.
A frown quickly overtook her features as she remembered how much she had brought- about three days worth in the muggle world if she was frugal and almost a week if she decided to go to Diagon alley. Plenty of time to sort things out. Or so she hoped.
A hotel room sounded nice at the moment though, her feet pushing into the wood chips that covered the playground as she pushed off. DIana let her mind wander as she swung, the passage of time lost to her. Maybe she’d go see Felix, or Lucy. Either way, going home didn’t see appealing. Her stomach growled shortly after though, bringing her back to reality and reminding her to eat.
With a sigh, she left the park, wrapping her jacket tightly around her. It had gotten colder, the constant motion having kept her somewhat warm before. A hot dog vender was packing up just as she approached, ordering two from him- albeit a bit forcefully.
It was already pretty late, and Diana stood at a street corner- taking a bite of food and contemplating where to stay the night.
“I can’t.” The fork clinked against the plate, Dimitri dropping it as if the utensil was burning hot. “I can’t just sit here calmly, Vio. It’s getting late, and she’s not here yet, and she doesn’t even have her wand with her.” He was on his feet, moving to the counter to pick up his keys, wallet, and wand, and then slipped his jacket on swiftly. “Well then, I’m coming with you.” Violet started standing but Dimitri simply shook his head. “No, it’s fine, babe. It’ll probably make the situation worse at this point.” Violet’s jaw dropped, and she started to retort, but Dimitri was already out of the door. She would get over it.
He sped down the stair, two at a time, as he made his way out to the cold again. He was cursing a million and one obscenities under his breath. Would it be like this all the time? They were adults; they should be able to talk about this. He retraced his steps from last night, making sure to keep an eye out for her dark hair. He had absolutely no idea where in the world she was, it was getting dark, and it was freezing out. Not the most ideal situation, he admitted, but he felt better, the anxiety that had overwhelmed him at the kitchen table slowly easing away. It was better for him to be out and about looking for Diana. It felt like he was actually doing something. He continued his way down the street, mentally pleading with all the gods in the sky to help him find her.
Continuing to eat, she merely wandered the streets. A cat call once in awhile was merely an annoyance as Diana made her way- slowly but surely -back to the apartment. It wasn't really her destination- completely lost in thought. What was Dimitri up to? Probably still at Violet's place. A small sigh escaping her lips, she thought about where to go. How long exactly would her money last? Too many little questions with no answers.
If she didn't think they were below her, maybe a shelter. Lucy's? No, she had no idea where the other girl even lived. Finishing the food, she crumpled up the foil and wrapper and tossed it into a garbage can a few feet away from her. Diana was about to turn away when she saw a familiar face across the way. "Dimitri?" She called out, almost reflexively as her eyes widened. Her expression soon turned into a slight frown, curious as to why he was out near the train station.
Skyler&Eleanor(temp)
Eleanor originally thought her eye contact with Skyler was a mistake on her behalf; a trick of the light maybe that caused her to think their eyes actualy met for a moment. She didnt actually think much of it, blinking and finding that he was now directing his attention to his companions, treating one to a kiss which caused her face to turn to a frown for reasons she either didnt know or didn’t wish to acknowledge. Hand resting on the windowsill, she was half tempted to open it, call out to him and enquire where he was going. For the first time in months a small stir in her stomach occured, something that gave her motivation to pop this little bubble of security that she had created around herself and even follow him. Though of course he was out of her sight before her fingers even lifted the catch.
Frown lines growing deeper on her forehead, she picked up her quill again, scratching lines of light and shadow onto her drawing, now mostly guess work. As she tried to fill out the nose, she heard the door swing open, and her name called out, causing her to jump in surprise and snap the silver nib: black ink bleed over the parchment, and in her frustration she cursed, head whipping up to glare at her distraction. When she recognised him as her subject itself, pale cheeks stained red and rightfully so. Eleanor tucked a curl behind her ear, and with an awkward giggle slipping from her lips, she managed a quiet “Uhm, sorry abou’ tha’.” Nodding quickly and hanging her head in shame over her drawings, she added a quiet “Hullo.”
"Hello, beautiful." He smiled brightly, walking over to where she sat. He was almost hesitant as he wrapped his arms around her small shoulders and pulled her close against him. It had been so long sine he had touched her, or even spoke to her. Moving a hand through her hair, Skyler let out a content sigh.
Holding her for a few moments more, he realized how weird it probably was for, and he pulled away- slipping his hands into his pockets. "You haven't been avoiding me, have you?" He asked, his tone light and almost teasing, but his eyes were hard. Skyler couldn't help but wonder if he had upset her.
Shaking his head to clear the thought, he followed the curve of her neck to her shoulder, down her arm, and eventually to her hand and small nimble fingers. "What were you drawing?" He asked, looking down at the stained paper, a hand visible.
Skyler&Eleanor(temp)
Reccently, Eleanor had discovered the emptiness of isolation.
Perhaps not so recently, actually. In fact she had always found joy in quiet. Finding solitude in dust dancing in the sunlight undisturbed and quiet tinkes of laughter from others in the distance. Previously she had not once considered the lonliness in her life; how it contained no more than a vast void which friendship should have filled. It used to be she did not recognised, or never took into account the sadness sprawling across the lone, broken armchair in the far end of the Common Room entailed. Just before her depature, she had come across what she had lacked: like a child looking to the sky and coming to terms that the Earth moved beneath him just as the clouds shifted in the sky, it was a magnificant realisation. The possibility of company and forming relationships with others was brilliant and she was just dipping her toes into the water before she was whisked way, cruelly enough. Only now she had been thrown back again, after a year of isolation, back to her original state and cruelly given a taste of what she found now an impossible feat.
The Hufflepuff tried to find solace in her old hobbies, examining others and reflecting off their energy, but now her quill ( which was supposed to be scrawling potions notes ) bled life to parchment; inky smile stretching in the euphoria she had rarely experienced, causing a small surge of jealousy to swoop over her, changing her mind in subject and searching for a new face.
Large eyes scanned the mass of students, skipping by most faces until a particular one stood out - one armed with a mischevious pair of eyes and a cocky smile, which had aged, though seemed oddly enough just how she had originally remembered them. She remembered how she adored it when they light up for her, despite her denial, though hardly remembered the last time they did so. Since her return she had made little contact with Skylar, out ofguilt mainly, and also out of fear he no longer cared. Her attempts even stretched as far as refusing to look in his direction ( while he was looking). However now it seemed impossible to tear her eyes away, and as if possessed or capable of independant thought, her fingers twitched around her quill and slowly his frame, frustratingly with a greater difference in their heights now, began to take form on her page.
Skyler tossed a book over to Daniel, one of his best mates since the start of the new term. Jacques and himself were still close of course, but being in different houses and the other boys prolonged absences made Skyler branch out and grow closer to other students- and not just the female population.
Daniel caught the book as they walked to class, fumbling with it for a few moments. But Skyler didn't notice, one of the sixth years catching his eye as she walked past. He whistled and just laughed off the glare she sent his way, used to not being taken seriously even if he was completely serious in most cases. The past year had been uneventful enough- and he had learned to keep a better eye on his wand than before, as well as actually focus on his studies. It didn't mean he didn't like to have some fun now and then- as the bandage around his forearm and chest showed, though covered by his robes.
Too much fun near the whomping willow.
Sighing, he looked up at the building before entering, enjoying the sun on his face as it beat down before the clouds blocked it out. Opening his eyes as it disappeared behind the clouds, he spotted a familiar blonde at the window. Eleanor. He had seen her around, of course. But she never looked at him, nor made any attempt to talk to him. Perhaps she was bored of him. Either way, their brief moment of eye contact was more than enough initiative for him.
Punching Daniel and on the arm and kissing the girl next to him briefly on the lips, in view of El, he waved back before running off, taking the flight of stairs up to the common room two at a time. Skyler was completely oblivious to the muttering behind him from the quick show of affection. He muttered the password, the entrance to the room opening too slowly and as soon as he could, he slipped in. "Eleanor?" He called out, turning around the corner and raising an eyebrow as he saw her at the window.
I’m cute -pouts-
Sure, sure. -pats head-
Oh, Sky. Hey. -smiles-
Oh, hey, to you too. -shrugs-
-winces at the punch, surprised, but happily accepts his arms around her, and hugs him in return-
Y’thought wha’, Sky? Didn’ think I’d jus leave ya like tha’, did ya?
I thought you were dead! -buries his face in her shoulder- Well, you never know with girls... -grins at her, hesitates for a moment before kissing her cheek-
I’m cute -pouts-
Sure, sure. -pats head-
