Wet and Nude || Avery & Alex
"Oh my god!" Alex shrieked as she woke up to the feeling of water just splatting on her. She propped herself up on her elbows and looked around frantically. "Wolfboy? Where are you?" she called out for Avery.Â
Looking around, she realised she had no clue as to where she was. She started off the night like every other full moon. She undressed and stashed her clothes somewhere where she'd know they were for when she woke up the next day back in her human form. This time, she came with Avery.Â
Avery and Alex had been kind of inseparable since the movie night. They talked about things any friends who were trying to get to know each other would talk about. Likes, dislikes, TV shows, books, things they've eaten in their hairy werewolf form. Normal things, you know? Alex just felt like it was easy to talk to him. She'd never really met a werewolf she got along with so easily. Talking with Avery was just a breeze. Nothing complicated about it.Â
"Wolfboy, I swear on my mother's grave if you're hiding just to fright me, I will kill you." Alex threatened, knowing it was not at all true.Â
She stood up and began searching around trees and in between shrubs. Her feet made a splash sound as they hit the mud repeatedly, her hand pushing back her soaking wet hair. "Avery!"
Trial Run || Alex & Avery
"Not properly, no," Avery answered simply, raising his brows as he offered a lopsided smile. "Well, if there’s anything I can do, it’s be spontaneous." Chuffing a light laugh, he shifted his attention back to the movie — only to find the movie already at its climax, though Avery had lost track of the character’s names. "I admit I’m one of those guys that throw their girlfriend over their shoulder and go: right, let’s go camping. If I had one, anyway. Fuck labels.” Wrinkling his nose, he shook his head to himself. “They’re not exactly necessary.”
Lolling his head Alex’s way, he smirked. “Thanks. I try.”  Crystalline eyes hovered over the biting of her lower lip.
That was a cute gesture, he had to admit.
He had concluded that Alex was one of those girls who had no idea how adorable they came off. “Oh? Well, you may be all bark and no bite. So,” a smirk tugging at his lips, he idly brushed a strand of hair away from her shoulder, "we’ll have to see about that."
"That's right, isn't it? We didn't have a proper meeting. We just happened to be in the same woods for the same reason and got naked..." Alex said, chortling and shaking her head. She looked up from her hands and cocked an eyebrow. "So you're one of those guys, huh? Does that mean you have a few girls you like to call up? Speed dial?" she asked, smirking. "Ooh camping. I love camping. It's great to get in some fresh air and get in touch with nature."Â
"Oh trust me. I bite," she winked and gave Avery a sly grin.
At this point, the movie was just annoying background noise. It was coming to a close—a cliffhanger, obviously. She waited for the credits to roll before shutting it off. "Didn't pay much attention to the movie, huh?" she asked, laughing a little bit.
She turned to Avery and looked at him. Didn't say anything, but stared, studying his features. Her trailed along his face structure, taking in the sight of his strong jawline and sharp blue eyes. He had some stubble on the bottom half of his face that gave him the kind of appearance of someone who enjoyed doing activities and didn't have time for something as pointless as shaving. It was kinda hot. Her eyes drifted to his hair. It was brown, and nicely kept. It looked soft and well held up.
She took a deep breath in through her mouth, shook her head, and looked away. "Sorry that must have been creepy on your end. I felt creepy doing it."
Trial Run || Alex & Avery
"Alright, then. I was just mentally crossing my fingers that you wouldn’t be one of those this kiss means everything sort of girls.” Avery laughed softly, the gesture drawing his brows together. Flippantly, he shrugged at Alex’s question. “It was an awfully spontaneous move.” But that was all he said. What he really meant was that he often felt uncertain of his actions; he would act on his instincts. All the time. He was more wolf than man in his eyes, because of that.
But the truly human part of him             was that he would look back on every single one of his actions.Â
"We have a fucked up friendship story," he corrected with a lopsided smile. "Too bad all stories are written in ink, and not pencil." Attempting to change the subject, a faint smile curved his lips as his eyes flickered from his clasped hands to Alex’s eyes. "You should tell me something I don’t know about you. Right now, I don’t know anything besides the fact that you’re a good kisser — and not too bad to look at underneath all that." Gesturing to her clothing with his crystalline hues, he cracked an amused smirk, just to emphasize that he was being playful.
"Of course I'm not. Have you met me?" Alex chuckled. "Sometimes a kiss is just that. A kiss." Alex nodded in agreement. "It was very spontaneous. Good job on that. I think. You don't meet many spontaneous people these days."Â
Alex raised an eyebrow, then nodded. "I guess we do. I mean, I don't think it's a fucked up one, but more a... unique one." Alex gave a very approving look at Avery's statement and nodded. "That was very deep, Wolfboy."Â
Her tongue ran over her bottom lip, her teeth soon replacing it. "There's a lot you don't know about me...where to start... Well, since you know I'm a good kisser, I can start off and assure you that I'm not too bad in bed. That's something you don't know about me."
"That’s so weird. I was sure you guys knew each other. He knows you." Did he, though? Whenever Lucy spoke of her, he acted like he knew whom she was refering to. Maybe he only knew of Alex. "I’ll bring them around next time I visit." She was sure that Dimitri wouldn’t mind, but Andrew would be more difficult. She’d bribe him with food. Or alcohol. Either would work.
"Why have you pulled yourself out of it?" When looking up Alex’s address, she noticed that it was on the Muggle side of town, but she hadn’t thought twice of it. She herself had immersed herself in a Muggle lifestyle too, but maybe Alex had done it for a reason.Â
"He knows me?" Alex raised an eyebrow, pointing at herself. She was surprised that someone she had never met could say with confidence that they knew here—a nobody, really. Especially someone who was, apparently, a famous Quidditch player. "Yeah, sure. I'd love to meet them." she smiled.Â
"No reason in general, really. Just...trying something new, I guess." she shrugged. "From after when my dad left my mum and I, my mum kinda just stopped trying to hide the magic and I've lived with magic ever since. So basically, all my life. I wanted to know how muggles live and not just from a class or studying them, but from their perspective. I am a half-blood after all."Â
I hate playing “never have I ever” because I’m a fucking slut
I hate playing “never have I ever” because I’m a fucking virgin
you will never know which of these two statements reign true for people who reblogs this and that bothers me
Lucy nodded and laughed as she took the glass from the girl’s hands. “Yes, intense. And drinking it straight too? No chaser, no anything? You’re brave, Alex, much braver than I am.” She was sure she’d been handed water, but she still sniffed it before taking a drink. She did not need to choke on alcohol again. It was disgusting enough the first time.
"It was a fun time, definitely. It was cold and then hot, and then cold again. And people aren’t as nice as they are here. I mean, not everyone here is nice and everyone there mean, but more times than less, the people were rude there. Maybe it was because we looked homeless the majority of the time." She sighed wistfully, remembering when she’d finally convinced the boys to stay in a nicer hotel. The shower, that’s what she’d enjoyed the most. "They’re friends from school. Did you never meet them?" She quirked an eyebrow. Andrew, she understood; he was sarcastic and brash and never had a lot of friends during their years at Hogwarts, but Dimitri? He was a professional Quidditch player. It was hard not to know about him. "He’s dating Violet Zabini? Tall-ish, with brown hair and brown eyes? Best friends with Matthew Addams?"
"Well, I am a Gryffindor." Alex laughed. She saw Lucy sniff the glass before drinking and chuckled. Good ol' Lucy. "Yeah, I know... They bump into you and they tell you to 'fucking move or i'll kick your ass'. Strange." She drank again.Â
"I probably did, but I didn't keep in touch with a lot of people, so..." Alex shrugged. She screwed her eyes shut, trying to remember if she knew a Dimitri. She took in Lucy's description, then shook her head. "No... I haven't been really invested in the Wizarding World lately..."Â
"I don’t have one."
"You do though..."
Trial Run || Alex & Avery
Alex acted like she was alright; as if his words didn’t affect her too much, but Avery knew they did. Normally, he wouldn’t have given a damn. Why was it different this time round?  Finding that he couldn’t keep silent, and that he had to justify his actions, Avery turned his head her way, and the worlds flooded out before he knew it,
”I’m not saying that you don’t mean anything to me.                I just —.” Abruptly facing the tv again, he screwed his eyes shut.
Out of habit, Avery massaged the bridge of his nose before touching a knuckle to his lower lip, eyes opening again. “I’m far more impulsive than I’d like to be. I shouldn’t have done that. That fucked things up.” He scoffed a dry laugh. Meeting her eyes from the corners of his, he offered a crooked smirk. “But this bad love story of ours is still more interesting than the horror movie, I reckon,” he joked, attempting to lighten the intensity of the moment, “the cast is definitely better.”
Alex raised an eyebrow and slowly turned her head to  Avery. "I don't expect to mean much to you, seeing as we barely know each other, wolfboy."Â
She turned her head back to the movie. Out of the corner of her eye she saw his movements and softened. He looked like he was trying to find the right words to say, and they were on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't quite place and piece them together. Her head turned to look at him completely once he started talking. "Fucked things up? What gave you the idea that you fucked things up?" Alex's mouth twitched into a small smirk. "We have a love story?"

The girl walked in, her hands in her pockets, her nails digging into her palms. Even though she felt incredibly comfortable and at ease with Alex, stepping into her flat for the first time in months was nerve-wracking. That nervousness, however, started lifting slowly as she looked around the place. It looked no different than before, everything being incredibly familiar. “Anything is fine.” She assured her as she took a seat on one of the comfortable couches, slipping her shoes off and tucking them underneath her.Â
Lucy looked at the clear liquid in her glass, and without thinking, took a big gulp of her drink. She instantly started choking, and she forced herself to swallow it. “I didn’t— I don’t usually drink?? This burns so much, oh my god.” She put the drink down on the coffee table, and sat up, coughing to clear her throat. “How can you just drink that? It’s so intense!”
Once she calmed down, she wiped the vodka off her lips with her cardigan sleeve. “Well, I’ve been here and there. I went to Spain for a while with Violet, then Ireland, to visit Tammy. And then I backpacked through the States, with Andrew and Dimitri.” She looked down and picked at her nail polish, that needed re-touching. “But what about you! What have you been up to?”
"Oh, sorry. Well, you said anything, and I forgot if you drank or not, so, uh... I'll get you some water," Alex laughed nervously. She got up and went back to the kitchen, pouring the rest of Lucy's vodka into her own glass. She rinsed out Lucy's glass and poured in some water.Â
"Alrighty, here you go..." She handed Lucy the glass, now filled with water. "Intense? I guess you get used to it after a while, huh?" Alex smiled sheepishly.Â
"Backpacking through the states... That sounds... Fun." She smiled brightly now. "Who's Andrew and Dimitri?" she asked, raising a brow and taking another sip of her vodka, the liquid burning less now.
“Don’t worry about the bitches in school — that could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life.”
"I don’t have— I don’t have a lip thing."
"Yeah, you do. You totally have a lip thing."
"I'm in love with you." WHEEZES

Alex stopped her movements and froze. Did those five words really just come out of Lucy's mouth? She turned to Lucy and looked at her in silence for a couple of seconds before a big, goofy grin spread on her face. "I've waited so damn long to hear you say that."Â
"I'm sleepy."
Send me "I'm sleepy" and my muse will react to your muse coming into their room in the middle of the night
Alex's eyes forced themselves open halfway. "Lucy?" she asked, her voice cracking and groggy. "You're sleepy?" she asked, squinting to try and be able to see Lucy. She opened her arms and made space on her bed for her, opening the blanket as well. "C'mere, then,"
