"There are things that should only exist in nightmares that wander planets and systems larger and smaller than this planet. Creatures that kill in only the most gruesome of ways. But, things exist that are on the opposite side of that spectrum. Beautiful beings that only are in the sweetest of dreams." The Dragon snorts, laying forward onto his stomach, causing the ground to tremble slightly.

He nodded slightly as he listened, all in all looking rather astounded. "I guess that's kind of how it works... You don't get the good without the bad." The tremor caused him to stumble a bit, partially from surprise. "R-right, just make yourself at home, aha."

Steph sat in her lovers lap, petting their usually absent cat, Cinnamon. She noticed she was a little allergic-- some small sniffling and sneezing here and there, so she usually lets him roam. He always ends up coming back, so she didn't think it would be dangerous. Steph eventually raised the cat to Split's vision, making his attention go to the cat instead of his work. "Hey Splitsy-- when we leave, who will take care of Cinnamon?" She asked, worried.

He was looking at a paper, as usual, when it suddenly went out of focus and instead he was staring at the cat. He blinked in surprise but then smiled a bit. “Oh hey, Cinnamon,” he said with a slight chuckle. “Well, I’ve got a few people we could ask. Pari would probably do it.”

Steph had gotten a response that honestly surprised her a little. It sounded wrong— but it was a bit hard to try and explain through words. “And I love you. I-I love you more than anything, Splitsy. Really, I do.” She said, smiling up at him and giving him a few kisses on his cheek, making exaggerated noises of affection as she did so. 

"But..we’ve been together this long, so..why haven’t we..you know? Gotten married…?" The girl tilted her head, honestly curious. "I know I’ve mentioned it— and we don’t have to, but…it’s- I care about you a lot and.." She was scrambling through her words, and swallowing some of them harshly down her throat.

He paused at that, biting his lip nervously. He honestly wasn't sure why the subject made him so jittery. "Well I don't know. I mean you do have a point... And I definitely love you enough... M-maybe we should."

"Uncle Split!" a cheery voice called from the window it was Split 2 waving happily "Hi Hi"

Now that was a voice he’d recognize anywhere. He quickly jumped up from his desk and hurried to open the window. “Hey, buddy! What’re you doing here?”

"Why yes it was" Wiggly said "Whatever for?"

"Well then it was probably mine, heh..." He chuckled a bit.

"All the time, every day. It is not often that I am not traveling. I’ve seen other worlds and other universes. There are so many other creatures out there that you would not believe exist. So, yes. I do travel a lot." Slag shakes his head, flaring his nostrils a bit.

"I believe it about the other creatures actually... I've done some traveling myself and I've seen some things I was probably better off not seeing and I'm not sure I want to know what all's out there."

"My shoes are on," he huffed. "You guys just wouldn't shut up."

"Um... yeah. I guess that's enough about that."
