Welp. I’ve found a job.

I’ve found a job! (Which is hell on earth but I gotta earn money somehow.) This means the following:

Everything I’m doing is on hiatus, and you won’t see much of my art.

This will be until September or until I get fired XD The most I’ll do during free time will be playing Splatoon 2, so if you see an Inkling named “Chivi“ that’ll be me!

I’m desperate.

This is a long post but PLEASE, read it, and if you can, reply to this post or send me an ask with advice, suggestions or whatever. Anything can be helpful.

So, a month ago or so I decided I wanted to go to the university (after 5 years dodging it XD), and I already applied to get in it. If I’m lucky I’ll get in and I’ll start going this september. All of this would be wonderful if not for an important problem.

At frickin’ last, here’s the celebratory... sequence! I never told you I know how to use After Effects, right? (>ᗜ<) I wish I could post this video in glorious 720p but what I’m going to do ¯\_(^‿^;)_/¯ 

Anyway, it’s amazing how far we’ve come, like... incredibly far. I still remember when I decided to make an ask blog ‘cause that was the trend back in 2012. I thought my blog would fade away along with the rest of unsuccessful ask blogs, but to my surprise, you loved this blog so much some people still begged me to reopen this blog long after closing it. This shows me I’ve created something worthy, and all of you followers are also proof of that.

So, again, thanks a lot. Every one of you is precious, even if you think you aren’t. ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭*:･ﾟ✧

Comissions everywhere

I didn’t think for a second that I would get commissioned, let alone commissioned again and again ∠( @_@ 」∠)＿

These last weeks I’ve been making commission after commission, with some drawing in between (basically a pic about Kirby’s 25th anniversary). I’ve left both the fancomic and this blog kind of abandoned... And the problem is that I’m not over with commissions, ‘cause I got commished again a few days ago.

I actually love that people’s commissioning me! That’s what I wanted since the beginning, but I’ll have to learn to squeeze myself a bit in order to not leave all of you abandoned.

Also, there are only 10 followers left to get 1000 followers. Isn’t that amazing?

I decided to make a schedule

First of all SORRY for the absence.

Team Kirby Clash Deluxe came out.

That speaks for itself (>ᗜ<)

Anyway, in order to avoid future panic moments and being behind schedule I decided to make a schedule! Thanks to a DeviantART user, who suggested me the idea! ٩(>ヮ<)و

The Schedule: 

MON - Ask SPM TUE - The Octoling (Splatoon fancomic) WED - Ask SPM THU - Ask SPM / The Octoling (MIX day)* FRI - The Octoling (Splatoon fancomic) SAT - Free day SUN - Free day (Splatoon fancomic only if it's update time)**

 *MIX day: I will do one or both of them depending on eagerness. **My fancomic updates every 2 weeks. When an update day comes I'll dedicate the day to prepare the pages for the update and to do some fancomic related stuff. If it isn't update day I'll do whatever I want.

Now, this won't be thaaaaat of a strict schedule. If I've got commissions to make I'll take some time to make them (money's more important than this, pitifully), and if I've got some energy left after answering asks or making pages I can always draw or continue a pic (I've got too much WIPs lmao).

Okay, today’s monday, so in the next few hours I’ll answer some questions or make a normal ask. You’ll see. (^ω^)

HERE IT IS!

I’m dead... ∠(-_-;  ∠)＿

Anyway, as I promised you, here’s my pic! ✧*｡٩(ˊᗜˋ)و*✧*｡ In the original post I comment why is this so simple-looking XD Anyway, I want to share some stuff with you... (this is gonna be long)

Me and this game

I still remember the day I stumbled upon the Paper Mario series and started reading the plots on the Super Mario Wiki. I read Paper Mario (64)'s and The Thousand-Year Door's plots, and while interesting, I found them quite normal for Mario standards. Then, I started reading Super Paper Mario's... HECK. I was SHOCKED at how tons of things that I couldn't even think that would appear in a Mario game happened in this game: Bowser and Peach being forced to marry, omniverse destruction, murder and THE ACTUAL FRIGGIN' MURDER OF MARIO (sending him to the equivalent of HELL (or Tartarus if we're gonna be specific))... anyway, I was SO IMPRESSED I told myself I would get the game no matter the cost... and I got it, and played it (I also got the official guide but that's unrelated lol). I freaking loved it!! I was so hyped by the game I couldn't keep myself from drawing the characters... specially the villains. I fell in love with them instantly: they're so quirky and funny and original. They're the perfect villain misfits and I think I'll never be able to make a villain group/organization as cool and original as that one. There's also the LORE: The lore is truly dark and mysterious, and some villain's pasts are truly sad (O' Chunks past is the saddest tbh). I wish Mario games were always this complex. And cool. And interesting. You must have guessed that this is currently my favourite Mario game of all time. And what I gotta say about Ask SPM? I remember that I was so in hype that I had to start an ask blog. Back in 2012 ask blogs were the craze, so I jumped into the bandwagon. Everything went fairly well I was having fun and I was getting many followers the more time passed. But then I played the MOTHER series... and the Great Closing happened. However, when I finshed my studies I decided to reopen the blog 'cause I thought I couldn't let such success go to waste. When I came back last year, I don't know how, but the follower count went from the 400's to ALMOST 1000 followers. I was shocked at how much people loved my stuff, and even if I've had quite the headaches and depression seasons, I still can see that people supports my work.

So yeah, thank you Super Paper Mario and thank you followers and readers of Ask SPM!
