happy reading to any new visitors! and, a minor but important advisory: there is a chance some of the older scenes, closer to the start of the blog, may have been retconned (or will be retconned in the future). (*i will add an example later, as im on pc rn, but in short: im trying to fix the plot holes to add the one thing this blog does not have: consistency.) i initally created this ask blog with no idea what i was doing, now there's a full au in my hands. currently, this blog is at the tip of the iceberg, and im trying to make the transition as smooth as possible as we start going in deeper to the koopalings' (and additionally the dark kingdom's) history.

Everyone has different boundaries on physical contact - some like hugs, some don't. As for who likes them the *most*, there's a three-way tie between Lemmy, Iggy, and Morton. (Maybe don't try to hug all three at the same time, or you might need to call a chiropractor... You didn't hear that from me though 😭)

Are your shells removable?

[There's been a lot of questions about their shells, ranging from biological to personal. Iggy would gladly answer the more biological aspect. Once he figures it out too. There's something... different about them from other Koopas.]

Ludwig, do you find Roy's agressiveness a little harsh? P.S. Have you and Roy ever gotten into any arguments or fights, if so, what's the frequency?

Frequent. It's... not that simple.

(Ludwig's and Roy's relationship is one that is... very strained. It has been strained since childhood. Too much has gone unsaid. As such, things have soured - and it affects the way he interacts with his other siblings - whether that be after a spat, or otherwise. Out of remorse, perhaps, or a fear of repeating the same mistakes as back then. Not that he'd say so. There's just some things he won't admit.)

The Koopalings' opinions on the bros are pretty standard. Though, it's obvious who they like a little bit more out of the two.

The princess is adored by just about everyone - in both the Mushroom Kingdom and the Dark Kingdom. Which... consistently leads to conflict.

Though, that's nothing new.

Trouble between the two kingdoms goes back ages. Or so they say. No one really knows how it all started...

Have the Koopalings retained any habits or quirks from their younger counterparts that they still display? (Especially for Ludwig from when he was Kooky!)

[They retain a lot more than you think 👀...]

[Real talk, I think Roy changed the least out of everyone from his younger counterpart, while Ludwig has changed the most.]

[As mentioned, and shown previously, he still possesses skills to invent. But he's gone a long way to try and separate himself from the whole... "mad scientist" thing he had going on. That's Iggy's jam now. Iggy would probably try to turn a Goomba into a Toad and vice versa just to see what happens. Though, that doesn't mean Ludwig wouldn't watch. Just out of... morbid curiosity.

Speech pattern is still pretty close, though Ludwig tries to use more refined language nowadays. He has an image to keep up, after all 🤷🏽‍♀️ - OP]
