???: “…Hello? Hello? Is this thing on?”
You hear a faint voice slowly get sharper as suddenly the screen flares to life.
???: “Ah, there we go! Perfect, thanks for the help, cuz!”
A second voice offers a quick “you’re welcome” and “good luck,” before you hear the door slam behind them.
The hand withdraws from the screen and you’re greeted with the view of a scruffy man. He smiles at the camera, then moves to sit at the now revealed desk.
???: “Well… uh. Here goes nothing.”
???: “Hi there! My name is Sarah Tonin. You might’ve heard of me—I’m a prosecutor and currently stationed in Japanifornia.” Sarah: “Recently, our office has heard word that we prosecutors can be a bit, um.”
Sarah: “…Intimidating.”
Sarah: “So, as a way to counteract that completely untrue rumor, we, as in Miles and I, decided it would be a good idea to put this blog together.” Sarah: “We figured that the more questions you ask, the more one-to-one interactions we have. Then, you get to know us better we’ll get less and less unapproachable!”
Sarah: “So… ask away, internet!”
