It’d probably be okay in the end, but letting things go is difficult. Everything has an answer, but you don't always need one. Someone told her that a long time ago, though she can't remember who. Anyhow, she better wrap things up out here, she needs to check up with the Tinis. There are better things to do than fuss over illogical occurrences involving her seniors. Like fuss over the Tinis. The hijinks they get up to in the UK are enough to liven up things around the house, which is quite a bit quieter without them in it. She's not sure if she likes it. It certainly lets her get more work done.

Maybe she needs to think without sense. Her uncle seems to be great at that and things tend to work out for him (even though she plays a large role in that with her intervention). But it's tricky, she's always been a straightforward person. She attributes most of her success to reason and deduction. But nothing else has worked and she's at a loss for where to start. So she attempts to think illogically, maybe that will lead her down the right path.

Perhaps Quimby is some amorphous blob of goo in the shape of a man (though that leaves the problem of mass still…). An alien entity with technology beyond comprehension capable of squashing and stretching him to fit whatever container he chooses? Maybe a specter?

This is beyond stupid. Who is she kidding? She’ll just try to shove this under the rug in her head until she eventually forgets about it. Same as everything else. Maybe throw herself into tinkering, or eat a sandwich. Something to tear her mind from this impossible problem.

Penny has a couple of questions all of the time. When she has Inspector Gadget for an uncle it’s a given. Though, she’s encountered plenty more interesting individuals tagging along on investigations, Chief Quimby for example. How does a large fellow fit into such impossibly small spaces? It's a feat she can't wrap her head around. Every time she brings it up, something interrupts the line of conversation. Sometimes a bit of slapstick comedy on her uncle’s part, other times the urgency of a case. Just today the chief popped out of their mailbox.

A trick panel would make the most sense if this were a place a person could actually fit inside, but Penny could scarcely fit her own head into the mailbox. Quimby’s pulled off a number of feats she’s had a hard time explaining away, but this might be the one to do her in. Not being exploded several times over, but a mailbox.
