Call To Mind
Footsteps raced forwards the doorway. The doorknob jiggles, as if the person behind the gateway forgot how to operate the device for a moment. A second later, the door swings open.
“No, no, no-! You gotta go! Nobody can see her in this st-!” Putri squeaked like an indignant mouse. Her wholehearted protests were cut off before they even began. From behind the little dancer, came some stumbling footsteps.
“Hellooo?” Her usual low and monotone voice had shifted up an octave, into a far happier and playful sing-song tone. She was smiling, her face was red, and she was leaning against the door frame for support. She is wasted. Putri hovers near Aditi in case she loses balance, giving the most apologetic expression she could muster.
