It was weird to see other honorary titans around the tower. But Robin had mentioned something about updating their comms. Most of them probably would have left already, but after Doctor light shorted out the city’s power, a lot of them had left with the team to go put him back in jail.
Nervously holding a flashlight, the small blonde wandered over to one of the other titans in the tower.
“I-is it okay if I sit with you? I don’t like being alone in the dark…”
Thunder, who had been waiting patiently on one of the couches as a few of the other titans,(and by few, it means all of them,) had gone few Cyborg down to the beasement to fix the unit, looked up when he heard someone address him.
He smiled at the little girl as she approached him with her flashlight and softly pat the space next to him,
“Of course, young one. Come and sit.”
BLUE BUDDY!
“BROTHER!!” Thunder immediately wrapped Icarus in a warm hug.
“You’re…choking…me! As usual!” he grinned. “I missed you!”
Thunder smiled as he let up a little,
“I’ve missed you teerribly, as well, my friend! I’ve missed my family!
How are you?? How is little Orcus?”
“I’m going to shower. We’re going out to dinner tonight! Maybe you could join us.”
Thunder grinned and nodded,
“I would love that. In fact, i’ll pay for dinner.”
“Brother, noooooo! I have gift cards. I can only spend them here.” The cat pouted.
Thunder chuckled and relented, waving pacifistically,
"Hehe, fine fine. Where are we going?"
He picked up Orcus into his arms and held him as kept his eyes on Icarus.
Now this is a game Thunder had been meaning to visit for a while. He had remembered seeing the title screen from his post light up the very day it was first plugged into Game Central Station. Now that he had some time, he decided that he would make the most of it and explore a little bit. Plus, it most definitely couldn't hurt to introduce himself to the game sprites and make some new acquaintances, could it?
It was well past closing hours for the arcade, so characters were already congregated in GCS and visiting other games like usual. Shorty had dropped by Sugar Rush to pick up some more candies, ones that existed there but not in her own game. She’d just gotten on the trolley, soon to return to her game, when someone else also stepped aboard, apparently when she was looking away for a brief moment. It was definitely someone she’d never seen before, but she figured that even despite having been there almost a whole year, there’s still many characters she has yet to see, given how many games were there in the arcade. If they were going to visit the game, she might as well get acquainted. “Hey… I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before. What’s your name?” she asked, with a small smile.
Thunder nodded softly, visibly impressed,
“Ohhh. So you’re almost “retro”.“
At her look, he explained,
"It is a term that the players use to describe some of the games here. It means ‘old, but cool’.”
“Nice.” she smiled. “I’ve heard some gamers also say that about Fix-it Felix Jr’s game, especially because QBert is in there. Guess they got to have a place to stay since their game was unplugged a loooong time ago and it’s better than being out in GCS all the time.” she said. “Oh, by the way, want to see my stage? I can show you it, and the other stages too, if you’d like.”
Thunder nodded in agreement, smiling fondly at the thought of Qbert and his crew having places to stay.
He would sometimes visit ralph and felix in their game and spend some time with the nicelanders and qbert when he had the time. It was always time well spent.
At her suggestion, he readily agreed. He would definitely not turn down a chance for more sight seeing if there was more to see.
"I am all for it. Lead the way, my friend!"
It was a glorious miss.
Thunder had lept at her just as she stepped to the side. He ducked into a roll and recovered quickly.
The chase was on again.
He grinned, squaring his shoulders,
“You can’t get away! Come back here!!”
With that, he chased after her again.
“Oh yeah? Watch me!” Vanellope laughed. The chase was on all over again, and she couldn’t have been happier for that much. It was going to be fun to see how long this would go on. More importantly, it would be a test to see if Thunder was still on his tickling game. He had been away from Sugar Rush for quite a while, after all. Maybe Vanellope was a bit rusty when it came to avoiding getting tickled, and maybe he was rusty when it came to catching her, but no matter what it would be fun.
As soon as he chased after her, Vanellope started to dart away again. At least there was enough room to run around in the training room. If it had been anywhere else, she might have been cornered to some degree. Technically, though, she was still cornered. She could try to escape, sure, but Thunder was fast. He could catch her.
“You can’t catch me!” Vanellope taunted. She started to zig and zag a bit as she darted around. It was mostly an effort to see how long she could keep him on his toes. Maybe it would work, and maybe it wouldn’t. She wasn’t sure either way.
Thunder playfully took the bait and tailed her beeline as they darted from each end of the hall to the other.
She was admittedly faster today since he had on his socks. He could just take them off, but he didnt think of it. He could have caught her already, but it was more fun when the chase was longer and she had chances to hide here and there before he caught her.
This was how he liked it. This was how he missed it.
The two of them, him and his family, having fun without a care in thr world.
Aftsr a few seconds of chasing, he decided that he would shake things up a bit.
With a mighty leap, he flipped through the air and landed in front of her, blocking her way.
"Ha! Gotchya!"
Luckily for Vanellope, his legs were open and there was enough space for Vanellope to run right under him if she wanted.
This was just how he missed it.
Now this is a game Thunder had been meaning to visit for a while. He had remembered seeing the title screen from his post light up the very day it was first plugged into Game Central Station. Now that he had some time, he decided that he would make the most of it and explore a little bit. Thunder seemed to take it all in as she explaijed to him her game world setup. It was really fascinating how even color alternates were their own separate entities, sort of like Sugar Rush.
He smiled and looked to her,
“One. What is your opinion of Litwak’s so far? Not too overwhelming i hope.”
“Hmm… well it’s a pretty neat place.” Shorty replied, with a nod. “It’s a little different than the old arcade I used to be in, back in Japan. The console was imported here.” she explained. “I’m glad players around here still remember this game, even though it’s been, uh… about 18 years now since Bust a Groove was first released? I think…”
Thunder nodded softly, visibly impressed,
"Ohhh. So you're almost "retro"."
At her look, he explained,
"It is a term that the players use to describe some of the games here. It means 'old, but cool'."
Thunder smiled as he began to saunter towards her as playfully amd mildly intimidating as he could.
He wiggled his fingers, laughing softly as he made his way towards her,
“Now you’re mine!”
Without anymore hesitation, he charged at her. There was a little bit od room between them, so she would probably be able to dodge if she acted quickly.
“Eeep!”
Her plan had failed, and Thunder was getting closer to her. If she didn’t move, then she’d surely be tickled to high heaven! Not that she was trying to avoid that, as it had been a while since he’d really gotten to do this with her, but the point still stood! She was trying to win. …If there was even a way one could win at a tickling game like this.
Vanellope moved to the side, just barely avoiding the oncoming tickle attack, and smirked up at him once she came to a stop. No way was she going to lose this match. Not yet, anyway.
“You think you’re the tickle master, but I’m still fast and stuff!” Vanellope declared. “So come and get me!”
It wasba glorious miss.

Thunder followed her into the open air of the game, and immediately the stage came into view, particularly the large buildings and starry sky above him.
He smiled in silent awe as he looked about the game, his eyes following her finger as she pointed out the various things of the game.
AS soon as she began to move towards the building, he followed behind her, quickly falling into step. The game was beautiful, he couldn’t lie. And it was certainly unlike any other game he had been to.
He followed her inside upon her suggestion.
There were two sub-entrances after the main entrance, one for all the “primary outfit” characters, and the other for the “secondary outfit” characters, as they were their own separate entities. Shorty explained that as they entered the “primary” door. Inside was the lounge where several of the game’s characters were seen milling about. There were chairs, tables, sofas around. One end of the room was a huge monitor, for watching games in progress, also a small interface with its own smaller monitor was next to it. On the other side was a teleporter booth, which was used for quickly entering a stage if a character was called upon for gameplay. “So yeah, that’s the basic run-down of this place.” she said, after explaining. “Aaaany questions so far?”
Thunder seemed to take it all in as she explaijed to him her game world setup. It was really fascinating how even color alternates were their own separate entities, sort of like Sugar Rush.
He smiled and looked to her,
"One. What is your opinion of Litwak's so far? Not too overwhelming i hope."
Excellent. His plan was working. Soon, they would have more than enough room to play around in, as soon as they got to where he would lead them, that is.
Slowly but surely, he led her to the training hall that he practiced in. He darted ahead and hid himself behind the opened door, letting her run inside before walking into the vast gymnasium and closing the door behind him.
Now it was him, her, and this vast open hall.
“Heh, I’ve got you now, little sister..”
As soon as Vanellope realized where they were, she screeched to a halt and looked around for a moment. There was no way out of the training hall apart from where they had come in through. In a sense, he had led her right to a dead end. Very clever, at least in a devious sort of way. But Vanellope wasn’t worried in the slightest.
“Oh no!” Vanellope faked a gasp. “I’ve been gotted! Whatever am I going to do?”
Maybe she would actually be able to tickle him for once. …Maybe. Vanellope wasn’t entirely certain of whether or not this was going to work. But she had to try it! So, Vanellope darted back toward Thunder and made her valiant attempt at tickling him.
It probably wasn’t going to work. She was close enough for him to tickle her now, so this could very easily backfire. But in the end, she wasn’t going to be too fussed if she got tickled. It was all going to be worth it!
Thunder smiled as he began to saunter towards her as playfully amd mildly intimidating as he could.
He wiggled his fingers, laughing softly as he made his way towards her,

How are you?? How is little Orcus?"
"THUNDER!" Brandon cried out, running as fast as he could
"Brandon!!"Thunder smiled as he held his arms out, ready to recieve the alicorn into his arms.
Giggles slightly "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, as I mentioned before I am a big fan." She sways a little and offers "Perhaps we may hang out sometime?" Shyly looks away. ((It is so good to hear from you too! <3 )
Thunder smiled and nodded as he checked he pocketed his communicstor into his cloth belt, “most certainly, my friend. I would love to spend some time together when i get the time.”
He then thought for a moment,
“Tell you what, i have patrol for the evening, but i finish at 7:30. Would you like to hang out then?”
BLUE BUDDY!
“BROTHER!!” Thunder immediately wrapped Icarus in a warm hug.

[Hmm, Gen from Street Fighter?]
(This one may be difficult.)
Few people of his age could ever hope to boast being able to move with grace, and yet, chilling and calculated precision, as this one could, evading the sharp hook thrown at him by his opponent, only to counter with a swift strike to one of the vital spots in the exposed underarm.
His opponent grunted with pain, quickly throwing up the other arm, sloppily in form, in hopes of recovering quickly to get a quick strike on the old man, only to fail and miss.
His efforts were met with pain again, this time running up his other, locking both arms in place.
Open and exposed, only left to be taken advantage of.
Taking his chance in one swift move, a flurry of strikes, knife hand, after knife hand..
..after knife hand..
With one final and decisive strike, his opponent fell to the floor, completely unconscious.
“You are a big fool,” The old man said, before turning his back and vanishing in a blur of purple.
Of course, Vanellope didn’t know where Thunder was subtly leading her. She just knew that the game was afoot and that she was having a blast at the moment. She continued to run forward, and every time she was cut off she would laugh more and scamper on her way.
One thing was for sure. Thunder was good at this whole subtle leading her thing. She had no idea of what was happening apart from having fun, and that was what mattered in the end.
Soon enough, though, she would reach their destination.
Excellent. His plan was working. Soon, they would have more than enough room to play around in, as soon as they got to where he would lead them, that is.
