((today on "oops I forgot this account existed"))
"Twins!" Chris didn’t even notice! The talk of relatives made him perk up, however.
"I, I have a sister back home, named Sharon…! My mother passed away, sadly, but my father’s still kicking! I mean, that’s really it for my, immediate family but…" He paused. "What’s it like having a twin? Do you guys finish each other’s thoughts and stuff like that?" The clashing personalities of the two made him think otherwise.
"'Course we do!" she said, responding to the question almost immediately.
"Don't. Don't listen to her. She's lying." Uquel did that a lot. People were lucky that she was around to correct them, because otherwise people would think that they were some sort of time travelers, or something. "Anyways, how's your sister doing?"
"Whilsa, and, and Uquel, that’s, okay! Nice to meet you, you guys, got my name…" He looks to Uquel, then to Whilsa, attempting a smile* Are you guys friends, or, related…? And…" He really really wanted to ask if Uquel was on something. But that’d be rude.
"Related? 'Course we are!"
"Twins, actually. And, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any relatives of your own? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
arcane-siblings started following you
"Hiya! Say, who're you guys?"
"Oh, by the way, I'm Whilsa, and she's Uquel. Nice to meet you two."
Chris was whispering a few “thank goodness”s under his breath as well. He didn’t think he’d be able to answer anything more from her.
"A stroll! That’s, very good yes it is…" He wasn’t sure where to go with it next. "…Did I get your names? I don’t think so…"
"Our names? I'm Whilsa, and she's--"
"I'm Uquel~!" she interrupted, earning a sigh from Whilsa. "I'm really surprised Whilsa didn't say our names right off the bat, though, but maybe she forgot!" she continued, earning another sigh from Whilsa.
He laughs quietly, yes you drown, he almost experiencesit what? Ten times before he finally reached it? Oh well, oh well, old memories.
"New Pork is one. The beach is great, if you want some scenery you’d have to go for a really long walk but it works if you really have time in your hands."
"Oh, uh, how long does it take to get there, then? The beach, I mean."
"It would take a long time to get there, wouldn't it?"
"Of course, and Tazmily isn’t really the place for tourists- that’d be New Pork." The place had visibly gotten better since the whole accident. He wondered if it should be renamed.
"But as someone who lived here—" he bows. "-Welcome to Tazmily hope you enjoy beaches and be sure not to swim too far. We have lots of places to go to I guess."
"Thanks!" she exclaimed.
"But... what happens if we swim too far?"
"We drown," she shortly said, before saying, "Oh, and thanks for the welcome. If you don't mind, can you tell us what other places that you said there are to go to?"
Uquel only served to confuse Chris even more, so he could only stare at her in bewilderment. He tried his best to explain, “Well, uh…! I’m, a, uh, different species, so I breathe…different species air?” That made no sense, but maybe it would satisfy the girl.
He turned to Whilsa and tried to smile. He didn’t WANT to ignore her, but he was having trouble understanding her. He continued on anyway, “Huh…Is it, another planet, an actual island maybe? Ah, sorry!” He tried to grin. “Do, you have any business around here??”
"Oh, that makes sense!" Satisfied with the answer, she stopped asking questions. Thank goodness.
"I don't understand the first question, but we don't have any business to do. In fact, we were just taking a stroll," she explained, trying to keep a straight face. Another planet? What was he talking about?
cybernetic-tournesol started following you
"Hey, aren't you the commander? Nice to meet you, sir!" She slightly bowed her head, an expression of surprise on her face.
"In case you're wondering, I'm Whilsa, and she's Uquel. Sorry if she's slightly bothering you, she can be quite immature at times."
"Alright that explains a bit-!" Lucas glances between the twins before laughing quietly. "It explains a lot actually. I’ve never seen you guys around here." It was a shock to have new people come to Tazmily and stay there.
"Everything’s resolved then. You guys plan to stay?"
"'Course we do! Why would we ever leave?" she spoke with a determined expression upon her face. "It's so peaceful and quiet, unlike the city!"
"After all, we just came here a few days ago. It's illogical to leave shortly after that."
"A, no…!!" What was this girl trying to say?? "I can’t breathe this air! I, yeah, that’s it…! I’m healthy, I think!" Sure, he was chubby, but fine for now. At least HE thought so.
He looked at Whilsa and tried to nod, to show he understood, but in truth he had no idea what she was talking about. “Nowhere Island?? Then how do you find it?” He sighed nonetheless. “Well, it’s nice to meet you too…Do, uh, do you guys have somewhere you’re going?”
She seemed relieved at the statement of the other being healthy. "So there are other kinds of air...? Like, a species, or something? Could air even reproduce like that? Were poisonous gasses the result of two different species of air reproducing? When was air even alive? So many questions she had in her head, how did she only think of them today?
"You're more than welcome to ignore her." That statement got a glare from Uquel. "Anyways, we're on Nowhere Island, so we don't really need to find it. And as of now, we aren't going anywhere."
Yeouch— did his arm bend the wrong way there.
A-ah oh. Oh well—? “Outside of Osohe?” That’s something he didn’t expect. He wondered for a moment if they were siblings or family. Maybe even friends of each others. “I see! How long have you guys been there? If it’s alright to ask I mean.”
"Yup! We've been there for only a couple of days, though. It took a while to convince Whilsa." She said it as if she accomplished an impossible task. But then, that's how she talked about everything else she did. Whilsa just looked like she could care less of the event, with her arms crossed like that. Although, that's how she usually reacted to everything, as well. Just your totally unpredictable twins, ladies and gentlemen! Come and get your popcorn, you'll never guess what they'll do next! Don't actually get popcorn, though. You'll be highly disappointed. Don't do false advertising, folks.
Tiny! Chris has become so used to that term, although it was one he had never had to deal with in the past. He was tall, not tiny! Where were all these giant people coming from??
He figured he had to yell at the girl, although he could feel himself choking up. Tall or not, ladies were ladies, and Chris can’t seem to keep his mind straight around them. “YEAH, yeah this is, my, my space suit for, for breathing!” That was a dumb statement. He quickly turned to Whilsa…who was also a lady. That didn’t help.
"Uh, Hey, uh, nice to meet you, yeah!! I’m, Christophian, from Hocotate…! Where, uh, where are you two from??"
"You mean you have a breathing disorder?" If that was true, then why was the remedy a spacesuit? Did it have to do with Christophian being tiny? How did someone make such a tiny spacesuit? Did he make it by himself? Uquel may never understand, extremely advanced technology, or not.
"We live just outside Osohe Castle, on Nowhere Island." She crouched down, so that the poor guy wouldn't break his neck looking up at them. "Nice to meet you."
askthechillpigmask started following you
"Hi, there!" She cocked her head to the side. "Say, you're a pigmask captain, aren't you? Nice to meet ya!"
"By the way, I'm Whilsa, and she's Uquel."
thehocotatianengineer started following you
"Woah, you're so tiny! And is that a spacesuit, or something?"
"I'm sorry for what she's saying. Anyways, I'm Whilsa, and she's Uquel
"Nice to meet you too-" Lucas bows his head in a greeting.
He offers a hand to shake, although it’s open upwards so any of the two could shake it if they so wished. “-I’m Lucas, do you both live here?”
She took Lucas's hand, and shook it wildly. You could almost feel sorry for the guy. Let's just hope his arm isn't broken.
"We sure do!" she replied happily.
"We live just outside Osohe Castle. She insisted that we move there, although it's hard to explain why." She looked slightly uneasy, though nobody could blame her, living with a hyper--er, optimistic twin, near an old abandoned castle.
