hi mommyclanners!! i'm hosting a mommyclan design fight. this is approved by mommyclaws!
1. you must post all design attacks on tumblr
2. do not ignore someone's design prefs. try to make something you think they'll like.
3. defending is not mandatory, but it is preferred. you won't get in trouble for not doing it, but unless you don't have the energy or spoons, please try to defend!
4. the design fight will start october 13(friday the 13th!!!) at midnight central standard time. it will end on october 31st at midnight central standard time.
5. you can put in your signup sheet which group you prefer, but in the interest of keeping both group sizes similar, i may not always put you in that group if necessary!
6. you must make design prefs before you sign up.
7. you can use bases for the designs as long as you credit the base maker- UNLESS the person's design prefs says that they do not want bases used.
8. all designs must be colored!
9. you may make art of a design that you draw for someone, for extra points! but it MUST be submitted at the same time to count for the design fight, otherwise it'll just be normal fanart. this art doesn't have to be colored.
10. friendly fire is allowed, for half points!
a: well, first you make design preferences and tag them with #mommyclan df! then, you look for someone else's design preferences! read them and draw them a completely new character based off of those preferences. post it with the df tag, @ them(feel free to send it in the mommyclan discord too), and see if they defend!
q: what should be in my design preferences?
a: state whether or not you are okay with bases being used(if not listed, people will likely assume you are!), and list things you like in designs ie orange eyes or fire all over the cat(this is anarchyfall propaganda), and list some things you don't like so they know not to include them!
design on a base- 7 points
design without a base- 10 points
design with a simple ref sheet(1 fullbody, at least 1 headshot, anything else)- 15 points
design with a complex ref sheet(2 fullbodies or more, anything else)- 20 points
added headshot/icon- 3 points uncolored, 5 points colored
added halfbody/bust- 5 points uncolored, 7 points colored
added fullbody- 7 points uncolored, 10 points colored
added animation, scene or sketch sheet- will be decided on a case by case basis, but always 12+ points
