I don't know what to do guys, I really don't know what to do.
I was paying rent with half at the start and half in the middle because it aligned with my paychecks, but the apartment complex suddenly decided to get rid of online payment which probably means I'll need to pay full rent at the start.
Back when I was paying 1700, I was barely getting by with money from work and commissions, and electricity was around 100, storage was less than 100, and my credit card minimum payment was 60-80
Now, rent is around 1900, I'm only allowed to make money from my job or I'll lose benefits, and all the costs I listed besides that have literally doubled
What was me paying 1980 is now me paying 2380 while being forced to make less money than I am capable of making in order to survive
We also have a lot of household needs we haven't been able to afford like toothpaste, cat litter, toilet brushes, etc
This won't be so much of a problem once the new room mate is here, but right now due to basically no one having money to buy commissions and lack of interest, my current roomie hasn't been able to help much.
And she used to have a job aiding me as a personal care assistant, but thanks to aaaalll the 2025 bullshit, I'm now considered too 'capable' to need one. Capable now meaning if you can wipe your own ass, you don't need support.
I was also expecting to get 1k back from mover fees but I screwed that up because they didn't give me enough information on wtf I needed to do.
Now my only chance is with figuring out my mom's life insurance, I can only hope she still had it active when she died because I know she set it up.
