Michiru let out a soft sigh, feeling the aura around them become awkward. This is defiantly not something she wants right now. She had better things to do.

She raised her eyebrow when he facepalmed. Why did he do that? He did nothing-And then Michiru remembered: he panicked like a little girl a minute ago. Of course. He did something embarrassing and now he’s embarrassed.

"You thought I was someone else, didn’t you?" She asked bluntly. Might as well come after why he acted like that.

His face flashed red momentarily as her words were slapped across his face. She’d seen right through him. His embarrassment continually increasing, he’d decided to play it cool. "I have no idea what you’re talking about." he crossed his arms. Hopefully this’ll work.

Michiru walked her way through many bushes and found no zombies yet. She decided that life was being a huge bitch to her right now. A very huge one.

The girl whipped the sweat of her forehead and leaned her short arms against a tree. “Christ.” Michiru mumbled. “I’m 500% done.” The loaner thought she’s alone, but unknowingly someone else is here to.

And then …he heard it. "Christ" in a somewhat hearable mumble, the woman’s voice seemed to say Almost instinctively, he shot up out of fear. "Shit…." he whispered as he backed up against the tree. "I thought I’ve lost her."

How did Caren manage to find him so quickly? The thought had pinned him down for a moment as he panicked. Avenger gulped. The loud thumping of his heart was not helping him think of a way to escape the cruel fate that awaited him should that priestess catch him.

Not knowing what else to do, he tried (desperately) to climb a tree. Though with his trembling arms and meagre amount of energy…the task seemed impossible.

And it was.

"Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me! I promise to never do whatever it is I did ever again I’LL BE GOOD I SWEAR." he yelled in a desperate attempt of trying to save his life

"Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me! I promise to never do whatever it is I did ever again I’LL BE GOOD I SWEAR." The words made Michiru instantly look above her. There she saw a male, possibly her age, desperately trying (and failing) to climb up a tree.

"…." She stared at the male. "Uhm…" Did she look that much like a murdered? Chika and Shito did said her glare could scare anyone, but she wasn’t glaring. "I won’t kill you for…" pause, "whatever you did."

Eh? "Wait a minute. That voice..." it had not sound like Caren at all. For a moment, he let his guard down and slowly got off of the tree. Once down, he turned and took a good look at the other, mentally releasing a sigh of relief once he'd made sure that it wasn't her

"Uh...thanks." he replied And then he realised....

He'd made a fool out of himself in front of a complete stranger. He facepalmed as the pathetic image of himself panicking over nothing repeated itself in his brain.

"Hmmm…" Michiru looked around. She is in a forest looking for zombies. Chika and Shito didn’t went along with her, saying they were ‘Tired from working so hard’. The girl became nervous at the thought of that she was being all alone, in a forest she didn’t knew the name of and- 'Gaah, Michiru! Keep your focus and look for the zombies.'

Avenger, apparently drained of energy, slumped down against a nearby tree. "Could've sworn I've already passed this one 4 times." He looked up as a few leaves fell into his lap. "How did it come to this?"

Oh yeah... Caren was on his tail, trying to punish him for...something. What was it that he'd said that had ticked her off? Running away from her had somehow lead him into a forest, where he finally managed to shake her off after making a few turns, climbing up several trees and hiding behind bushes. But now...

He didn't want to admit it. He was tired, fed up, and irritated at the reality of the situation that was upon him. But most of all, he couldn't stand the thought of getting himself lost.

The question had left him silent for what seemed like half an hour. In truth, Avenger hadn’t ever bothered to try and remember anyone’s faces before. He’d never seen any reason to do so, so why bother?

"I’m not sure. " he mumbled, scratching the back of his head, as though doing so would help him remember the other man. "Pretty sure I’ve seen you on the streets before, though."

The boy in front of him fell silent at the question. Kiritsugu felt his eyebrows crease towards each others, though it does lighten up quickly at his reply. “…Oh, the streets, I see,” the man shook his head lightly to himself, as if berating himself silently for thinking too much. "That’s rather plausible. Though I’m afraid I don’t recognize you…as you have quite the unique amount of tattoos over your body. Were they a traditional thing or did you want them all over you?" He could swear their voice was all too familiar.

"Uh...yeah. Tradition. Lets go with that." unable to think of any other excuse, he went along with one of the other's guesses. He nodded profusely, just to get through to his point. How else was he supposed to explain, anyway? Lying wasn't at all a skill in which he excelled in. Exaggerating and mockery, now that was his forte.

All the while they were having this conversation, he;d noticed that the old man's eyes never once left his physique. Was he curious about something? He wondered. Staring was rude, so to say. But who was he to judge others when he was (obviously) the ruder amongst the two. Once again, he;d decided that it was probably nothing. People stared at him all the time, so why should this man be any different from the others?

A slight shadow appeared, Gilgamesh didn’t even look up. But when the shadow came closer, he had to. "Avenger", he said calmly."Gilgamesh", he other one replied and sat down next to him. Both stayed silent for a while. "Something is bothering you", the king of heroes noticed."Mhm.""Wanna talk about it?""Mh.""Guess that means no. Wanna have a hug?""Mhm."

"Maybe. Maybe not." a sly smile crept upon his face as a sarcastic voice in his mind echoed 'Right. Of course you know me. It's not like I've been cooped up in the Church without interacting with any other living beings except Kirei and Caren for the past few weeks or anything.'

"Probably not, though." he shrugged.

An odd feeling arose within Avenger, as he realised the old man who’d just greeted him was eyeing him suspiciously. Of course,such a thing was to be expected. He should’ve been used to it by now, what with sticking out like a sore thumb every time he stepped out of the Church’s premises.

Avenger shook it off, as he’d usually done whenever someone stared at him. "Mornin’ old man." he replied.
