"Yes my friend. It would be very difficult for me to not see you when I hear that wonderful, joyous and loud laugh of yours!"
//I think this one is pretty much canon, so there can't be any misconceptions about it. I mean even two of his abilities: sonic wave and tempest, are pretty much him creating sound waves to see his opponents more clearly.
But let me give you something better. Those are fragments from his judgement.
"He seems to gather sensory information so efficiently it makes one wonder whether, for him, blindness is a weakness or a strength."
So you see, the popular idea that his blindness is a problem for him is a biiig misconception.
I agree that Lee sees mostly through hearing.
"A damp echo trickled outward as the doors thud shut behind Lee Sin, painting the room's cramped dimensions in his mind. The sound was low and the air was stuffy, distorting the noise and accenting his mental image with a subtle blur."
But is this the only thing that he has at his disposition? Hardly.
"In the crannies of the musty stone, fading but distinct human scents lingered, the trace pheromones of violent emotion."
Well, apparently sense of smell can be helpful as well.
"A fresh breeze swept through the room. Lee Sin could sense the shape of its current as it moved, like a serpent returning to coil in its nest."
Huh. Apparently sense of touch plays a part as well.
"Arcane potential loomed in the air around him, more than he had ever sensed before. The Reflecting Chamber swelled with it. To most, it would be imperceptible, likely misinterpreted as jitters or dread."
That makes sense. Lee Sin doesn't use his magic anymore because of his personal vow, but he still has it. He is very sensitive to it, maybe now even more than before. So any magic effects in the area, spells, magic sources, people with magic powers. Hell, he probably would be able to say that Xerath is coming even when that walking pure energy is still far away.
But I left my favourite bit to end with it.
"He pads straight to the doors, then stomps the ground. His head moves up the door, tracking the resulting sound.
He chuckles at the inscription."
Wait. Did you just read an engraved inscription? I assume it was engraved. Still no. NO. That's insane and OP. Lee Sin go back to your monastery, I don't want to see you anymore.
I'M SORRY THIS POST IS SO LONG, but I'm very emotional about the subject.
So now that you've been educated by me, you have my blessing to wince at everyone who makes stupid blind jokes about Lee Sin.
