whenever I write bunny conflict I really hope the takeaway is that they’re both bad at handling conflict especially when it comes to each other. no one is there to course correct their mindsets so their resolutions are only bandaid solutions for bigger issues. it shouldn’t feel totally resolved. they are trying to get better for each other but there are many underlying unhealthy aspects of their situation.

I like to think that prim is ambidextrous bc they created a body for themself and didn’t need to learn motor skills. They also probably didn’t know favoring sides is a thing. Why would you have a more dominant hand? That limits your options and now the other is a weak point. Just use both.

puka has a lot of potential for some angsty story plots but my problem is that I think about these things linearly and prim needs to figure themself out before puka is comfortable with admitting anything to them. Or rather prim needs to get to a point where they can notice something is off about them and bother to ask. Bc for a while there it’s sorta just a: Blah blah “you can always talk to me ~puka :3. The same rules do not apply to me tho” and it makes things frustrating.

And to add to this sorta dilemma. The most difficult thing abt writing prim is deciding where they are in the humbling process. Because their appreciation for the human experience is going to come on very slowly, and they’re not gonna notice their feelings changing right away. I can see it being something they become aware of very suddenly, because for whatever reason they’re now able to look back and realize how much they’ve changed, while understanding the importance of it. That this change is a good thing. They’re finally starting to know what it means to care about something, and as these feelings grow the guilt towards their past would start to set in. They now understand why what they did was bad, and with every new thing they experience they’re reminded of how they used to think. Learning how to move past the actions of your past self is difficult, and they would have to learn how to handle the repercussions and emotions surrounding it. because it is good that they feel bad, its a sign of growth. but they cant get stuck in it. theyd figure out a balance eventually. basically they have to go through this first before they can help puka. Yay.

prim is a danger to themself bc they don’t know how many things work and will accidentally do something stupid. but they will also be warned about not doing something bc it’s dangerous, and now that they know it’s a thing they can to do they will be doing it for the intrigue.

I forgot to include in my ref that prims gem tie has a crack in it. So does their cure form chest jewel. As an acknowledgment of their past or whatever. Fun fact for you all.

I am of the opinion that puka does not have any of the original Supremes memories and is an entirely separate consciousness. So they had no idea the extent of the things Supreme did. Which means during the reveal scene puka was also learning exactly what happened. Which I feel could validate Puka’s feelings a little bit like “oh so it wasn’t just me they were mean to ~puka theyre just Like That” but also simultaneously “oh they’re actually way worse than i realized ~puka. what is wrong with them. ”
