I always feel a little funny about saying that when I’ve been kinda inactive to begin with.

I’m gonna be going out of town for two weeks starting on the 5th; I’d hoped to get in a few posts before leaving, but I seem to be a bit art blocked, and me being me, I just end up stressing about it. No sense in that, so I might as well call a break now and let myself off the hook.

He's most afraid of failure, I think. Failure and crashing into the ocean to drown amidst the wreckage of all his hopes and dreams.

In general, he fears the same things the average person does, I suppose, with no particular phobias. He's generally very brave, able to maintain his cool in the face of danger; it's when failure is imminent that his bravery fails. I wouldn't really say he's a coward -- he didn't evacuate until all hope was lost, and Meta Knight did give the order. But he's not the bravest of the crew, either.))

((That's a hard one! He's not easily embarrassed -- as long as he feels he's in control of the situation, which he usually does. However, if his authority is threatened -- for example, if he gets called out on a mistake, and especially if he's reprimanded for it -- that'll do the trick. Naturally, Meta Knight is the person most able to make him blush. >v>))

((Vul is pretty sensible with money; not a big spender, but not overly stingy, and not much of a gambler.

He has a fair amount saved away from a...successful previous career, although quite a bit of that went into helping to fund the Halberd's construction. Where that ship is concerned, he'll spare no expense.))

((NOT A LOT OF THINGS...Vul's pretty unflappable when it comes to the sorts of things that would make many people uncomfortable.

He's pretty hopeless with children, though, so putting him in a room with a rambunctious youngster is the surest way to take him out of his comfort zone.))

((In general he's the sort of guy who likes what he likes and takes no guff about any of it, so there aren't a lot of things he'd feel guilty for enjoying.

However, he does have a smoking habit and he's not the proudest of it. He's not allowed to smoke on the Halberd, so he was more or less forced to quit, but he still indulges when he can. Tsk, tsk.))

((Vul's a tough old bird and not too easily moved to tears, but he's not ashamed to cry openly when tragedy strikes. For example, the crashing of the Halberd was...an extremely emotional time for him.

He doesn't tend to spend too long weeping, though, preferring to keep busy and work through the pain. After the crew regrouped, they almost immediately launched into salvaging and rebuilding the ship.))
