  Cygnus was born in 1938, the youngest son of Pollux Black and Irma Crabbe and brother of Walburga and Alphard, who was later blasted off the family tapestry. He married Druella Rosier, and the couple had three daughters: Bellatrix, the eldest, in 1951, Andromeda, the middle child, between 1951-1955, and Narcissa Black, the youngest child, in 1955.

I do not, I have never met them though.

I can say I did not intend for this to happen. Bellatrix is a very talented witch, very loyal to the cause, and I know I should not have led her astray from her duties as wife to Rodolphus. 

She and I...well, we had hoped you would not have had to find out about our initial indiscretion - I accept all fault, you know, I did kiss her when I ought not have - but as it has seemed to continue, we had thought it would be prudent to inform you of the nature of our relationship. 

I cannot help it, Cygnus. She pulls me in, just her very essence. I have no desire to give her up, nor she, me. You know me, old friend, you know it is rare I find someone to return to, time and time again. Bella is... different. 

I assure you I will take care to avoid a scandal. I encourage her to continue on with her husband, I would not lead her on to believe she should leave him, I would not make any false promises to her.

What do you do most of your time? It's not like the house of black is strapped for cash, so I'm assuming not work.

I write letters to old friends and to family.

Sometimes I am called in the Ministry to solve different dillemas that people have, seeing my family has big influence. My father is actually one of the most influential men in the Ministry.

I also sometimes spend private time with my wife, sister, parents, family and daughters.
