So for those of you who’ve been wondering where I disappeared to, here’s a kinda rambling explanation.

I started this blog on my second-to-last year of college, and when the last year rolled around that work load really kicked my keister, so this blog sort of fell to the wayside.

I never forgot about it, and actually think about Defo and all the wonderful artists and people in this community a lot, but behind the stage secrets with the mun time: I have a pretty bad panic disorder. Like. Really bad. I hadn’t planned on leaving for as long as I have, but it’s sort of become like that one text message you absolutely intended to reply to but things got in the way and once you have the time and energy to actually reply it’s been so long that it’s super awkward now??

Yeah, this is sorta like that.

I wanna get back in the game, though, ‘cause this community did absolute wonders for my creative energy and I love everyone in it. Thing is, jumping right back into Defo after such a long silent absence still feels pretty daunting, so I want to try something else for a little while.

I’ve got an idea for a Nekomura Iroha blog specifically, starting something small and new to get myself back into the swing of things.

All of that was honestly leading into my asking the dash if this would be alright with them. Would you guys be okay with me dipping my feet back in with another project for a little while?
