I’m sorry this is coming later than many of my fellow RP’ers, but like so many of them, I don’t feel I can continue on with this blog at this time, even in AU. I’m certainly not the first mun to fill Liz’s shoes on this team. I took her on a couple of years ago when one of our muns stepped down and I was missing an active role on the team. It’s funny, but I’ve played both Keens, one at the beginning of my tenure with this amazing team and one at the end. I can’t express how utterly heartbroken I am over the way that they treated such a beautiful character and how disappointed I am in the empty way in which they discarded her. Her struggles, her relationships, and the way she fought to understand why her and received nothing but a bullet to the back and an orphaned daughter in the end. She deserved better. They all deserved better.

Thank you for all of your fantastic questions, for the honesty hours we’ve shared, and my time as Liz. Thank you. I’ll truly miss this.

I’ve started and stopped this post multiple time, just trying to find the words. This RP started over six years ago with a Reddington RP’er and a Tom RP’er who absolutely loved this show. Since then we’ve seen so many talented muns come and go for AU weekends, episode responses, and all the questions you tossed our way.  It’s been a gas, it really has, but they do say everything has to end eventually.

That said, in light of the S8 finale, the Blacklist RP team is disbanding. That means that this page, while it will remain up, will not be coordinating events, posting open accounts, etc etc… Disbanding the team doesn’t necessarily mean that the individual muns that are running the RP accounts will choose to step away. That is 100% their choice. All I’ve asked as the mod is that they let you, their followers, know if they’re going to stay and run their account as an indie RP account or choose to mark their account as inactive and step away. I’ll make sure to reblog those announcements here as well.

It’s been a wild ride just know that we love and appreciate the community of fans here more than any of us could ever say. Thank you.

Almost everyone I’ve loved is gone. Sam, my mother, Tom, Jennifer.... even the people that stood by me when no one else would. And now this war with Townsend nearly cost @askdonaldressler his life, and if it had.... I don’t think I could take losing anybody else.

I don’t even know why he wants to kill me, just that it has to do with @askraymondredreddington. It always has to do with Reddington and his secrets.

I’m around this morning if you have questions. I’m willing to be honest.

Have you considered the possibility that the woman who claimed to be your mother could’ve just been masquerading as her — possibly another impostor, like Reddington?

To what end? Why would she claim to be Katarina Rostova when Katarina Rostova was being hunted by Townsend? It makes no sense.

She was like me. She was looking for answers. @askraymondredreddington had them. He has them, and he has killed nearly everyone I love to keep them.

Well, for my previous question, I was talking about BEFORE Red murdered her — the night you called Katarina on top of that building and chose her over Reddington. It was clear that you had switched sides long before your mother’s death.

There didn’t have to be sides. I didn’t want to be stuck in the middle of all of this, but in the end my hand was forced. I had to make a choice. @askraymondredreddington​ did that. All the secrets. All the lies..... Maybe if he’d been honest with me like she was...

You know what, it doesn’t matter. I warned him a long time ago... some things aren’t things you can forgive. He kept me from my mother. First by telling me that she was dead and then by actually killing her.

Do you think that you and Ressler could have a future together after Reddington is gone?

Right now, my focus has to be on taking down @askraymondredreddington​  for everything he’s done. I don’t know what comes after that. I can’t risk thinking about that right now, but I do know that I don’t want to imagine a life without @askdonaldressler​ in it.

You call Reddington a sociopath; it’s clear that you, a seasoned profiler, have no idea what a sociopath really is. A true sociopath wouldn’t willingly trade their life for yours without a second thought or stick with you after so many betrayals. Hell, when he had a gun to his head his last word would have been your name. He truly loves you—that much is obvious. And every time something happens and you blame him, it always turns out that he is right in the end. This will be no different, I guarantee it. The woman from Paris was not your mother.

Oh, well if you say say she’s not, then well.....

The term sociopath is an older term for something we call antisocial personality order these days and the signs are there.

The lies and manipulation, the dangers he so apologetically has people both me and people I love in over the years, his reaction to authoritative figures.... @askraymondredreddington doesn’t care about who he has to hurt or who has to die to keep his secrets. So many people that I have loved are dead because of him. Sam, Kate, Tom, my mother. He may think what he does is love, but that doesn’t make it true. Just one more lie.

A sociopath is charming, sure, but I’m done being charmed. I’ve lost too much.
