So… the bad news for Cassimir is that his home planet of Sirona doesn’t have the climate for coffee to be grown. The good news? Earth does.

For Venezuela 💔🇻🇪

Yesterday evening, my home country, Venezuela, was hit by two earthquakes of 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude back-to-back, with over 150 aftershocks since then (several of which were of similar magnitude), as many of you may have heard. I cannot describe the devastation. They affected the north-central region, but the most damage is in the capital, Caracas, and La Guaira. So far (06/25/26 ~4:10pm local time), the count goes almost 200 people dead, over a thousand injured, and ten of thousands missing… and counting. I don't know how many buildings collapsed completely, with a lot more with substantial damage. There are areas with no power, so many people lost their homes, all they had.

I'm writing this to ask a favor of you.

First, keep all Venezuelan people in your prayers. Keep in your prayers the victims, those trapped, their families, and the rescuers and volunteers doing their best to help.

If you know someone from Venezuela, give them your support. It means the world to us.

I’m doing some worldbuilding for an alien planet and digging into the ripple effect each story-centered choice would have on the planet, the weather, the wildlife, plant life, etc etc…

John Walker Appreciation Week: Day Three

Least Understood Aspect(s)

John is kind. It gets overlooked quite a bit because of the assholery that he shrouds himself in like a protective layer (especially after Lemar's death), but when his guard isn't up, we see it in the way he wants to protect people

and looks after them even when there's friction.

It's in the way that, even when he's under an incredible amount of stress, he doesn't brush people off.

He takes care of people, and I think that's born out of an innate kindness that's easy to overlook, but once you see it, you wonder how you missed it at all.

So, I don’t follow soccer (or football, for my European friends), but I’m loving how Europe and America are coming together over all of the Europeans and others here in the States who are experiencing Walmart and Buc-ee’s for the first time. It’s phenomenal. I just watched a video of a Frenchman eating Texas bbq for the first time and this is my new favorite genre 🥲
