If you genuinely wanted to ‘get in contact’ with Father Anderson, there are several obstacles. First, he does not own a phone. Not a modern one, not a flip phone, He claims technology ‘dulls the spirit.’ Translation: he breaks every device we give him within a week. Second, even if he did have one, he wouldn’t answer it. Third, the Iscariot Organization does not give out personal access to its more enthusiastic agents for civilian curiosity. Or for science, as you call it. To be blunt? The only guaranteed way to contact Anderson is to show up somewhere you absolutely should not be and he’ll find you

I do find it interesting. Not in the sense of faith, of course, but as cultural history. The way those myths shaped philosophy, literature, and politics they’re important. And some of the tales, they’re compelling, even if they’re entirely theologically misguided.

hot or cold? Summer or winter? Hot coffee or iced coffee?

Cold. I function better when things are calm. Winter, the quiet and the lack of heat suits me. Hot Coffee, Iced coffee feels like an indulgence I don’t have the patience for. Besides, Anderson used to insist that ‘proper coffee should steam,’ and unfortunately that stuck with me.

What do you think about Halloween? Do you do anything special on it, or no?

Halloween…hm. I can’t say it’s a holiday I’ve ever taken lightly. Most people see costumes and candy; I see a night where people blur the line between the sacred and the profane as if it were a game. Growing up in the Church, it was more a reminder to stay vigilant than a reason to celebrate. That said I’m not completely immune to the atmosphere. When I was younger, Anderson would insist we keep an eye on the neighborhood ‘just in case,’ but he always let the children enjoy themselves. I remember watching them run around in their costumes, and perhaps it softened my view a little. As for now? I don’t do anything extravagant. Usually paperwork. Sometimes I patrol the grounds out of habit. Heinkel and Yumie tend to tease me for being too tense about it, but they still bring me whatever sweets they confiscate from the others’ desks, so I suppose that’s their version of a celebration. So do I celebrate Halloween? Not quite. But I acknowledge it. And if I’m honest I don’t mind the company it brings.

Hi! Tell me, what would you do if you suddenly became a vampire? Imagine, you were bitten, you lost consciousness, and then came to your senses already a vampire. Your actions?

My first reaction would be denial. I know enough about monsters to recognize the signs, and I’d still try to convince myself it wasn’t true. Then anger. At myself, at whoever did it, at God for allowing it. But I know exactly what I’d do next. I would go to Father Anderson. Not as his superior just as the man who practically raised me. I’d ask him to confirm what I already feared. And if he looked at me with anything less than the hatred he reserves for true monsters, I think that would hurt more than the transformation itself. And then I’d give him the order he would already be preparing to carry out.

If you didn’t become a bishop and head of the Iscariot organization, what would you want to do? What type of job would you want to get?

If I hadn’t taken the path that led me to the head of Iscariot I’m not entirely sure what I would have become. My life was shaped so early by the Church and Anderson’s guidance, that imagining something else feels almost foreign. But if I let myself consider it I think I would have gravitated toward something still rooted in structure and purpose. Maybe a teacher, or a historian. Something where I could put my fascination with doctrine, tradition, and order to use without the weight that comes with my current position.

First OOC Post

I want to thank you all for the support on this blog, I honestly never expected people to pay so much attention to it. Unfortunately, as some of you may have noticed, I haven’t posted since August 19th, and you might be wondering why. The simple answer is life and university. When I first started this blog, I was a freshman with fairly easy classes. Now, as uni continues, my workload has gotten much heavier, and I’m busier than before.

Because of this, the blog will be on hiatus until I finish the semester. Everyone is welcome to keep writing, but I likely won’t be able to respond until after December 7th. I truly hope I’ll be able to come back here and start again. Until then, stay safe :)
