Hey everyone, sorry for the long time with no update! I'm not dead or leaving this blog or anything I promise. The last little while has been... a lot.

First more sick then I've been in years, then my grandpa died, and now I'm still dealing with some medical stuff that's draining my energy. Luckily now I have some meds that should help me get some energy back!

So yes, within a couple weeks I should be able to get back into the swing of things! I have a collection of asks sketched out I need to finish, and I want to continue the story. (If you wanna help with that at all, throw some asks to Theo. XP We'll be moving over to him soon~~)

But before I can get back to all that, I'm gonna be busy this weekend! Why-?

Yep~! I'm back at Animethon in Edmonton Canada for the weekend! With my partner Karu we'll be running the Midgardia table and selling a range of different merch! If you're in the city this weekend, stop by and say hi! ^^

Once the con is over and I've recovered from that hopefully I can work on building back my buffer. I hope everyone is doing good and I've been enjoying lurking and seeing everyone else's content. XP

💪 Celebi?

What impact do they have on the world around them? What is their current role in the world?

Celebi are the children of Dialga, created to aid in the monitoring and recording of time, and events across the universe.

A Celebi's impact on the world is determined by their age, and by extension their power (older the Celebi the more powerful) but those impacts are seldom seen by an individual. Their energy and very soul are connected to ancient forests that through living longer then anything else on a planet record everything that happens. A Celebi is the monitor who can see if there are fluctuations that if left unchecked could be disastrous and fixes them before others notice.

Their second role is to come to Dialga's aid if the scope of danger reaches a massive point. But the calling of aid has only happened a handful of times through the God's existence.

📜 Mewtwo

What has been written down about them?

Very little actually. Given they were created by a human evil organization that aims to keep their crimes from public view.

What is written about Mewtwo is more rumors and alleged sightings then concrete proof to the general public. Some humans write about Mewtwo as if he's some alien, others a human pokemon hybred, really anything. Basically, Mewtwo is like UFO sightings to humans.

To pokemon, they are slightly more known because when interacted with mons don't normally get their memory altered for safety. Then they are just seen as a powerful recluse that prefers to be left alone, but is known to help out endangered mons if by chance they come across something happening.

🌍 Kyogre?

Have there been any wide-scale events surrounding them? Or do they work on a smaller scale?

Kyogre is the God of Storms who all should respect and maybe fear a little too, but wide scale events are something that most saw as legends of the distant past and warnings to not repeat in the future.

That is until humans came along and took control of the God, attempting to flood the world (yes game events happened in this universe). In doing so the legends became far more real.

When not controlled by outside forces Kyogre is a mostly peaceful mon that is rarely seen. But sometimes sailors tell of being caught in horrible storms that threatened the crews lives only for the storm to dissappear in an instant, and all that is seen is a massive tail diving into the deep leaving behind a wave that directs them to the nearest land.

Or if you disrespect the ocean and it's inhabitants be wary, because a storm might surprise you and take revenge for the damage you've done.

💪 Mew?

What impact do they have on the world around them? What is their current role in the world?

The mew species as a whole doesn't have a specific role. They can be protectors, warriors, or just powerful beings who try to blend in with mortal mons and live a quiet life. Because many are immortal through the universe they don't tend to be in a rush to find a specific purpose and may spend generations of mortal lifespans simply traveling across their planet. Basically, they are a species with near unlimited potential to do both good or bad, but must find their own role in the world.

For some, in their travels they find a place worth protecting and choose to become a guardian for their home and those who reside in it.

West: We’re each chosen by them to monitor sections of the forest and make sure there are no signs of danger to the forest itself and the inhabitants. If there is anything unusual we report it and either deal with the trouble immediately or monitor the situation.

We’re all gifted a tool to communicate with each other, so if needed we can normally call for aid from other guardians as well.

I’m back!

Hello everyone! Thank you for being patient with my bit of a hiatus. Last little while has been rough (seriously I don’t know why, but May kicked my ass with one thing after another) but I’m hoping to work on asks this weekend and start building on a queue again. ^^

I have a couple to work on first, but I’d love to get some more asks if anyone is interested.

Hey, just another update. I’m... dealing with some family medical stuff right now. It’s rough and... this week is gonna be difficult. So updates will be slow. I have asks sketches but what little energy I’ve had for art the last couple days went into this kinda vent/I don’t know what this is for it just kinda happened I guess?

Anyways... yeah sorry again. When I have some energy I’ll try making an update or two but this week is just gonna be a lot.

If you were to make a videogame, what would you make? What genre or style? Would it feature your ocs?

Oh this is a fun one!

Hmmm... If I (we) had infinite money, time, and energy? I'd team up with my partner and try and make something using the Midgardia world/setting that we've spoken about, played in, and made characters for for YEARS. Probably some large scale fantasy RPG, open world where over time you unlock different planes across Yggdrasil. We've tried building more of the world into a TTRPG setting for years and the lore has been built starting with her and then my additions over the course of 15+ years.

Yes it would feature our OCs, but they'd be more background NPCs and important historical figures and stuff. Instead the player would start by choosing what Plane to start their adventure on and that would determine their starting species options and what story path they get until other planes are unlocked.

Style wise... um... nothing super realistic. I prefer games that pick an aesthetic and create the worlds look around it. Not 'Hey lets make everything look like real life and show off how detailed we can make each blade of grass'. There's a time and a place for those, but they're not my thing. XP Knowing us it'd probably be more of a anime style.

My other option for a game? Something something super simple looking but lovingly made and maybe kinda weird with aesthetics or mechanics. Like you don't get why you care about these stupid boxes and their story. They're just boxes jumping from one end of the screen to the other but you want them to get through everything together as friends! (Looking at you Thomas was Alone >.>)

What inspired you to make these two? :3

Originally I got Theo's design from Airanke, a friend who used to run a few ask blogs years ago. Having his design and not a place to use it made me start thinking of making a new blog. At that point there were quite a few sub species of mons being made, and the Pillar one seemed fun so that's where Ziska started.

I'll admit there wasn't a lot of planning besides wanting to make a new ask blog with fewer characters and some kinda story bit. Back then I had Ask-PMD-Spectrum aaaand there were a lot of characters but admittingly not much for story.
